My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I’m Marley. 🐾🎶

A little rhythm, a little soul — that’s me. I’m a beautiful brown tabby with soft white accents, and I like to think my look is effortlessly classic. I came here as an owner surrender (they said “unwanted,” which is hard to believe), and while I’ve been through a lot, I’m ready to find a peaceful, loving forever home where I truly belong.

At first, I can be a bit reserved — I just like to take my time and feel safe. But once I get comfortable, my sweet personality starts to shine. Give me patience, kindness, and a few gentle pets, and you’ll see me open up more every day.

I love attention and affection, and when the laser pointer comes out… oh, it’s game time. I’ll chase, pounce, and groove to my own little beat. Playtime is fun, but I also adore calm moments filled with pets, love, and connection.

So if you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitty with a playful spark and a heart ready to trust again, I’m your Marley. All I need now is a forever home and someone to share my song with. 🐾💛🎶

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
