Despite his past, he is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves pets and attention. He has no prior experience with children or other animals due to unknown history so slow introductions are helpful for new friends! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily soak up all your love, Pablo is your guy! Pablo does have a diagnosed heart murmur. At this time, he is comfortable and medically cleared to go home. We do recommend that his adopter establish care with a veterinarian to monitor his heart health and keep him feeling his best. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
