My Journey I’m a one-year-old calico tuxedo beauty who is learning how wonderful it is to be a pampered indoor kitty. I’m still settling into this new lifestyle, but every day I discover something else to love — soft beds, warm laps, and humans who think I’m special.
My Social Life I’m friendly and open to meeting new people. I warm up well and enjoy gentle interaction. I’m still figuring out the indoor world, but my curiosity helps me adapt quickly. I haven’t shared much about life with other cats or dogs yet, but with my easygoing nature, slow introductions could help me feel comfortable.
My Personality Curious, friendly, and quietly confident. I love exploring my environment, checking out new things, and being admired — I am beautiful, after all! I’m sweet-natured and enjoy interacting with people, especially if they’re patient while I learn the indoor routine.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
