Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
This helps Animal Care Centers of NYC | Manhattan with pet care costs.
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
I have lived with cats in my previous home.
I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.
I am looking for a home with a patient person.
I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
Pork Chop was crouched down hiding in the den with a neutral body and eyes. He sniffs and accepts treats offered and allows petting on the head and cheek rubs. When stroking his body, he raises his shoulders and hips up and continues to eat more treats offered. When applying gentle upward pressure on his side and chest, lifting him up to the ceiling of the den, he remains calm and unbothered. After placing him down, he enjoys more treats as a reward, but is unable to be coaxed out of the den to the front of the kennel, and he continues to tolerate more petting and cheek rubs.
