Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
This helps Animal Care Centers of NYC | Manhattan with pet care costs.
I lived with children in my previous home.
I have lived with cats in my previous home.
Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!
I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.
I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
Tigger was at the front of the kennel sitting up with a neutral body and eyes. When spoken to and opening the door, he softly meows and then hovers over the front entrance, looks down at the neighboring cat who hisses at Tigger, and then stands his ground when the assessor redirects Tigger's attention elsewhere. Tigger head bunts for petting and remains calm when receiving cheek rubs and stroking his body. During pick up, he tenses up, grabs hold of the litter box and den, is pried off, and then grabs hold of the assessor's shoulder when held. After placing him back down, he climbs on top of the den crouched down with his tail slightly pilo-erect and wrapped around his body, and he continues to tolerate more petting and cheek rubs.
