Newbie alert! We’re still getting to know her full personality, but a few things are already crystal clear - Angie is SUCH a good cat.
She has unbelievably soft fur, melts into laps like she was made for them, and turns on the purrs the second you give her attention. She’s affectionate and also chill - truly the best combo. She rests well, makes tons of air biscuits, slow blinks like a pro, and genuinely loves being around her people.
Angie is a big fan of toys, playtime, and showing off her biscuit-making skills. She can get a little grabby in a playful way and may investigate a plant or two, but she’s easily redirected with toys - just a curious little lady exploring her world.
Overall, she’s sweet, social, playful, and loving. The kind of cat who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing and then curl up next to you and purr about it.

Whiskered Away is a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) rescue rooted in Philadelphia and built entirely on heart. Founded in 2026 by longtime animal advocates, we came together after seeing too many cats - and too many caregivers - falling through the cracks.
