My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Sir Bumpington! From my cozy little spot here at the shelter, I spend my days dreaming of a forever home filled with soft blankets, warm laps, and endless cuddles. I’m always ready with a friendly hello — and I’ll happily chat with you, too! I can be vocal at times, especially when I’m asking for attention or reminding you it’s time for pets.

And oh, do I love pets. The moment your hand touches my fur, I purr up a storm — a full, rumbly engine that lets you know just how happy I am. Being close to my people is my absolute favorite thing. Whether we’re sharing a quiet evening or a gentle morning cuddle, I’m right there soaking up the love.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will talk to you, adore your attention, and fill your home with soothing purrs, I might just be your perfect match.

Adopt me, and let’s start our happily ever after together. ??

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City.
