This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Cats and Small Animals) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Molly was brought in by her previous owner on February 22, 2026.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Molly is a very shy girl looking for a patient and understanding person who will let her acclimate at her own pace. She came from a home with a high volume of cats and has been quite overwhelmed in our care, so providing a quiet, calm environment without the hustle and bustle of young children is essential. Starting her off in a secure, confined space will be the key to her success, allowing her to slowly adjust to her new surroundings without feeling pressured. Molly truly relies on the company of other social cats and is strongly recommended to be adopted with a friend from her original household or into a home with a confident, friendly cat. Building a bond with her should be facilitated through low-pressure interactions, tasty treats, and delicate play. Because she had limited experience with people during her early life, she will likely remain a shy girl in some capacity, but she has so much potential to settle in with a gentle approach. Please bring a top-loading cat carrier to ensure she has a safe and secure journey home.
Shy/Fearful Cat: Molly requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
