Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Michele — one half of the fabulous duo, Romy and Michele.
Yes, those Romy and Michele.
My sister Romy and I are basically twins — same adorable gray tabby looks, same love for playing, and the same belief that life is just better when you have your best friend by your side. We do everything together: zoomies, wrestling matches, toy hunting, and occasional synchronized naps.
I’m a super sweet girl who loves attention, but I also have a very important job: making sure my sister and I are having the most fun possible at all times. If there’s a toy nearby, we will find it. If there’s a human nearby, we will charm them.
Some people say Romy and I are a little iconic. I mean… we’re cute, we’re fun, and we’re basically the cutest reunion tour you’ll ever see.
As Romy and Michele would say: “We’re not even that dumb.” We know exactly what we’re doing… and what we’re doing is being adorable.
So if you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitten who loves her sister and brings a little bit of fun everywhere she goes, I think we’d get along great.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a very important reunion to attend… with my sister Romy.
Love, Michele 🐾✨An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00

At DeKalb Humane Society, we are passionate about finding forever homes for the pets in our care. Whether they are cats, dogs, or other furry friends, our mission is to provide them with a loving and nurturing environment.
We also believe in the importance of education about responsible pet ownership. We strive to educate our community about pet welfare, the benefits of spaying/neutering, and the prevention of animal abuse and neglect.
By adopting a pet from us, you are not only gaining a lifetime companion, but you are also contributing to our cause and helping us raise awareness. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these innocent animals.
The DeKalb Humane Society filed for our Certificate of Incorporation on December 23, 1975 and we were granted 501(c)3 status in March of 1976. We are committed to being a no-kill shelter and serving the DeKalb County area.
