Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Momma. Yes, the Momma — resident attention supervisor, professional purr machine, and occasional tiny yeller.
I’m about 6 years old, which means I’ve perfected the art of being a wonderful companion. I absolutely love people. In fact, the second you touch me, my purr turns on like someone flipped a switch. It’s instant. No warm-up required.
I can be a little reserved when I first meet you — I like to take a minute to check things out and make sure everything feels safe. But once I decide you’re one of my people, that’s it. You’re mine. Expect purrs, expect affection, and definitely expect me to keep an eye on what you’re doing.
I also have a bit of a chatty side. If I think you’ve gone too long without giving me attention, I will absolutely let you know. A little yell here, a little reminder there — it’s all part of my charming personality. Someone has to keep the humans on schedule, after all.
Mostly, I’m just a sweet girl who loves being around people, getting pets, and sharing my big purrs. I’m past the crazy kitten phase and fully settled into my role as a loyal, loving companion.
So if you’re looking for a sweet, slightly sassy girl who will purr the second you touch her and occasionally yell at you (lovingly) for more attention…
I think we might be a perfect match.
Love, Momma 🐾An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
