Eve is a beautiful tabby cat with a soft coat, sweet expression, and a whole lot of charm. She is very sweet and playful, always happy to chase toys or spend time with the people she loves. Eve absolutely loves to play and lights up during playtime, whether she is batting around her favorite toys, pouncing with excitement, or engaging in interactive games with her favorite humans.

Eve has a gentle, loving presence and does not let having one bad eye slow her down one bit. It only adds to her unique character and makes her all the more special. She is looking for her forever home where she can be cherished for exactly who she is and enjoy plenty of fun, love, and playtime. Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Visit www.abandonedpetrescue.org to see adoptable cats and dogs. Fill out an application for the pet(s) you would like to meet and adopt.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have filled out an application, a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment to visit APR.

3.
Approve Application

APR does not do same day adoptions and takes multiple applications on each pet to best match pets and families. APR may do home checks.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, you will sign a contract and pay the adoption fee. All pets are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

5.
Take the Pet Home

APR hopes you stay in touch by joining APR's Facebook Alumni Page. Adopters can reach out to APR at any time with questions or concerns.

Additional adoption info

You must be 21 years old to adopt and have never been convicted on animal cruelty or neglect.

Adoption Fees:
Kitten $75/ Cat over a year $60/ Two kittens or cats $100 Puppy $175/ Dog over a year $150/ Two puppies/ dogs $250

Fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines and tests for common illnesses

APR is opened everyday from 12pm to 5 pm. You can stop by to meet some pet but it’s always best to fill out an application to set up meet and greet!

Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.

APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
