My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cleocatra (“Cleo”)

Meet Cleocatra — but her friends call her Cleo. With her beautiful natural “kitty eyeliner,” this elegant little lady looks like she stepped straight out of ancient royalty.

Cleo is a total lap kitty at heart. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she transforms into the sweetest snuggle companion. Her favorite place in the world is curled up on your legs, soaking in the warmth and giving quiet, cozy companionship.

Cleo has always been an indoor cat and is perfectly content living the indoor life. She is fully litter trained and has wonderful house manners. She does well with kids and other cats once everyone has had time to adjust. She’s also been around dogs and handled it just fine — though the dogs she’s met were more intimidated by her than the other way around!

Cleo occasionally (about once a year) experiences a mild bout of cystitis, usually related to stress. To help prevent inflammation, she currently gets half of a human Zyrtec tablet powdered into her food, which has been helping keep her comfortable and healthy.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily warm your lap and share quiet moments with you, Cleo might just be your perfect match.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
