When people hear "orange cat" they tend to picture a chaotic little agent of destruction sprinting across the house at 3am, scaling kitchen cabinets, and making questionable life decisions at full speed.
Penelope would like to respectfully decline that stereotype.
This petite orange baby girl is much more of a quiet, gentle soul than a whirlwind of chaos. She's a little shy at first and prefers to take in her surroundings before diving into the spotlight. But give her a little patience and a calm space, and you'll quickly discover her secret talent: purring.
She's the kind of cat that just needs someone kind and patient who understands that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to bloom. Once Penelope feels comfortable, she shows her sweet, affectionate side and happily soaks up the attention. Think of her as less of an orange party goblin and more as a soft orange fuzzy marshmallow (if you discover an orange fuzzy marshmallow in the wild, we don't recommend eating it.)
If you have a calm home and a little patience to give, Penelope will reward you with quiet companionship, cozy moments and plenty of happy purring.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214.
