Let's just get this out of the way: Daphne is not thrilled with shelter life. In fact, if she wasn't so shy, she would probably file a grievance with management.
This small, orange lady has made it clear that living with strangers, noises, and cats of various personalities is not her vibe. Because of that, Daphne has decided to remain somewhat...MYSTERIOUS.
She's not mean. She's not cuddly. Right now, she's not really anything honestly. Is she secretly a cuddle bug? A playful goofball? A professional blanket burrower? A catnip fiend? We truly do not know. What we do know, is that Daphne is shy, a bit unsure of the world right now, and would likely do much better in a calm home where she can decompress and reveal her true personality at her own pace. Right now she's basically an enigmatic fluff.
Think of adopting Daphne like opening a surprise present. Inside could be a lap cat, a quirky little companion, or a quiet roommate who occasionally appears for snacks and polite conversation. Either way, she deserves a chance to figure out who she is outside of the shelter environment.
So if you're the patient, kindhearted type who enjoys a little mystery and wants to exercise their cat savvy to help a shy cat write her comeback story, Daphne is ready to leave the shelter behind and begin her "plot twist" era.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214.
