Story
Hi ! My name is Truffle ! I am originally an East Coast girl, born and raised. Purebred I might add. I am a dilute Tortie Point Balinese which means my color points have pastel blue, orange sherbet and medium to light charcoal in them. My body has creamy white medium length hair with hints of orange sherbet, and I have bright blue eyes. I am a “Dreamsicle” kitty ! My family moved to the west coast 7 years ago. I have a very nice family with other cats too, and we all moved together. They were all very excited and happy about this big change. Well . . not me! The airplane trip, new house, everything arriving boxed up and then all the unboxing and stacking, then moving stuff around and putting everything in new places was just too overwhelming! I pretty much stay by myself contentedly in a quiet room with my favorite person where I love to snuggle, and be lovingly petted. She’s all grown up now, and is going to go back to Maryland – everyone knows I just can’t do that trip again. I’d love to tell you what I do like. I like belly rubs and being brushed ! I love to snuggle, be lovingly petted… Oh! I think I already said that, right? Well here’s the best part: I will love you right back in return. Feather wand toys, catnip mice, my scratching post and playing fetch are high on my happy times list! I am also conversationalist, especially about my food and will like having discussions together about getting it ready for me. I am quite specific about conversational subject matters. I don’t go on and on talking about nothing for no reason. I am an indoor only cat and fastidious about being litter box perfect. I happily use A&H clumping litter, cleaned twice a day, thank you very much ! While I do get along with other cats, I could do just fine without them. Well, on second thought, with the proper introduction, maybe a well bred non aggressive cat friendly kitty could be considered. Especially if I were in a quiet home where someone is there most of the time and has just one other really nice kitty. I am a healthy, shy and gentle girl, and don’t hide when I know everything is just fine and I’m going to be alright. If you would love to have a kitty just like me, I would love to be purrrfect for you ! Love, Truffle My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good! I currently live with my owner in Cameron Park. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!

These pups are in Santa Rosa, California too!

Story
We adopted Lucy as a kitten from the SFPCA in 2011. She has been a silly and affectionate companion for many years. It takes a lot of work to earn her trust - but once you do, she will love-bomb you endlessly. Lucy is quite talkative and will talk back to you if you speak to her. She is a big cuddler (once you get into her inner circle). She isn't comfortable with strangers, dogs or other cats. We don't have children so she hasn't had much exposure to them. We've learned that she thrives as an only child. Lucy needs a home where she can feel safe. She loves the sunshine and outdoors and because she's not super adventurous - we find she doesn't like to wander. If you have a balcony or enclosed/protected yard, she would love that. We welcomed another cat into our family a couple of years ago, and found that she sadly can't tolerate a sibling. We just want to give her a chance at finding a new loving family that where she would be an only child and find happiness in her retirement!

Story
Coconut is sponsored by: Stephanie Upton SNAP Cats rescued Coconut from Bakersfield, CA, where he was going to be euthanized for being FIV+. Yes, that still happens in 2022! Which is SO sad because Coconut is a very sweet, super friendly cat that loves human attention. He’s the first kitty to greet you when you enter the room. Coconut can be combative with other cats, but mellows a bit once he gets to know them. Coconut would be best as an only cat, but would probably be fine with an older cat that keeps to themselves.April 17, 2024, 3:46 pm

Story
Merlin is Sponsored by: Margaret Loftus SNAP Cats rescued Merlin from Madera County, CA. Merlin is a real sweetheart. He loves human attention, and gets along with other kitties. Merlin’s head tilt is due to a bad untreated ear infection. We think it adds a lot of character! We believe Merlin’s twisted rear leg is a birth defect. None of this matters because Merlin gets around just fine. He’s a low maintenance kitty who deserves a wonderful, loving home. Is that your home? If you’re interested in Merlin please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/. Thanks!April 17, 2024, 3:46 pm
