Story
Merlin is Sponsored by: Margaret Loftus SNAP Cats rescued Merlin from Madera County, CA. Merlin is a real sweetheart. He loves human attention, and gets along with other kitties. Merlin’s head tilt is due to a bad untreated ear infection. We think it adds a lot of character! We believe Merlin’s twisted rear leg is a birth defect. None of this matters because Merlin gets around just fine. He’s a low maintenance kitty who deserves a wonderful, loving home. Is that your home? PLEASE NOTE: Merlin is currently spraying. We don’t know if it’s because of the environment here (other cats spraying) or not, but this should be taken into consideration. If you’re interested in Merlin please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/. Thanks!October 15, 2024, 5:39 pm

Story
Minx is Sponsored by: Mary Green SNAP Cats rescued Minx from Madera County, CA. Minx arrived with her bonded brother, Merlin. The two are no longer bonded, so she’s ready for a home of her own. Minx is an independent girl who loves to relax and loves attention. Thanks to a generous Operations Grant from @petfinderfoundation, we’re able to purchase three months’ worth of food for Minx as she awaits her forever home. If you’re interested in Minx please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thank you.January 18, 2026, 7:32 pm

Story
Ghost is a very special cat. Him and his brother were rescued from the Tubb’s fire out of a burning log. They were bottle fed and are more friendly than most dogs. Unfortunately, Ghost nibbled on a wire and electrocuted himself in 2023. We spent thousands to rehabilitate him and treat him at UC Davis. He has made a full recovery but does have a couple holes on the top of his hard palate on the roof of his mouth. He does not require special food or feeding. He is incredibly kid friendly, and is not aggressive at all. He is beautiful and truly one of a kind.

Story
I’m re homing suki because she didn’t get along well with the other cat in my home. However, despite her differences with other cats she is the most cuddly, affectionate and curious cat I’ve met. While vocal at times, suki always wants to give you kisses and snuggles. She’s a beautiful Siamese, lynx point kitty and gets along well with my two other dogs so she should be alright with other dogs as long as introduced properly.

Story
Prince may be shy at first, but don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you—this noble feline has a heart as golden as his name! His favorite place is his cozy “castle”—a soft bed, carrier, or a cardboard box with a blanket, where he feels safe and secure. Recently, Prince has begun leaving his fortress to perch on the cat tower, where he enjoys surveilling his kingdom. He’ll graciously sniff your hand and may accept a toy as a friendly offering, though you’ll have to earn his trust for head pats! Ready to pledge your loyalty to cat royalty? Adopt Prince today!

Story
Scarlet is a stunning 11-year-old Seal Point Siamese with elegance and grace. For many years, she was a devoted companion to her partner, but when her life partner became ill and could no longer care for her, she was surrendered to Cat Rescue of Cloverdale to find a new beginning. Despite this transition, Scarlet remains a gentle, sophisticated soul who thrives on one-on-one connection and the quiet beauty of shared moments. This lovely lady focuses her entire heart on her person. She isn't looking for a busy household; she simply wants a sanctuary where she can give and receive unconditional love. If you are seeking a loyal best friend to grace your home with warmth and love, Scarlet is ready to start her next chapter with you.
