If Tom were in an old-fashioned kissing booth, the humans would be lined up at his stall. Tom is all sweetness wrapped in friendly. He loves to be pet and returns his affection in purrs and snuggles. He's an outgoing kitty who would do well in any household. Just a great all-around kitty and at a year and a few months old, he's gotten over those crazy crawl the curtains stages and is ready to be your couch TV kitty with a peppering of playtime. (Approx. 18 months, November '23). Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via  wtfcatapps@gmail.com  or  text  (707) 258-2287 for more information. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. Story
Charro is a sweet and beautiful 10 year old Abyssinian mix. She's getting lots of TLC in a wonderful foster home. This lovely senior girl is mellow and so loving. She sleeps curled up next to her foster mom all night long. Charro is so affectionate and great with everyone she meets. She is really comfortable around the foster's young daughter and they sometimes read books together:) Charro has an easy going way about her. And although she 'looks' serious...she's really a very happy feline. Charro just loves to be close to her people. She does not like other cats, but Charro can co-exist with a small gentle cat friendly dog. She would thrive best in a calm home, with people around who will adore her and give her lots of gentle pets and cuddles. Charro was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. She's getting special wet food and her foster is giving her subcutaneous fluids with ease, and both interventions are working. Despite the diagnosis, Charro is so deserving of a permanent home and we are hoping that an experienced adopter is ready to fall in love with her. If you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly, happy and well mannered cat who is good with older kids...just fill out an adoption application which gets you one step closer to a 'meet and greet'.

Story
Claudia is a pretty tabby with a gorgeous coat. She and her best friend Evan are a bonded pair that were rescued together. They have landed in an amazing foster home and are doing great. Here's an interesting factoid. The foster dad is a research scientist and he has unearthed some interesting genetics behind their coat colorings. Evan's coat pattern is called "ticked' and Claudia's is "blotched tabby". Claudia is not as outgoing as Evan, but since she's food motivated, her foster mom rewards her with treats when she's getting pets, brushed or doing something new for the first time. Claudia loves her foster dad! She'll come running up to him when he gets home from work and rubs her tail against his legs. She'll also happily adorn his lap for as long as he lets her. Claudia also loves to play...a great way to engage her. Evan is very curious and playful. He runs around with his tail high up in the air...a sign of a very happy cat. He'll look to his people for pets and gives out a big purr as a 'thank you'. And he's great with the resident cats and makes the cutest little chirping sounds when playing with them. Evan and Claudia absolutely adore each other. They snuggle up together, rub heads and make the cutest love sounds. They both need each other for comfort and security. That's why they can't be separated. These two need an adult family that has the time and patience to take things slow with them and let them evolve on their terms. A quiet environment with low activity level would be ideal. We think in time, with the right people by their side, they will continue to blossom and bring a lot of joy and love to their new home. Can you give Evan and Claudia the loving home they so deserve? The adoption fees for this bonded pair is discounted $50

These pups are in Santa Rosa, California too!

Story
Coconut is sponsored by: Stephanie Upton SNAP Cats rescued Coconut from Bakersfield, CA, where he was going to be euthanized for being FIV+. Yes, that still happens in 2022! Which is SO sad because Coconut is a very sweet, super friendly cat that loves human attention. He’s the first kitty to greet you when you enter the room. Coconut can be combative with other cats, but mellows a bit once he gets to know them. Coconut would be best as an only cat, but would probably be fine with an older cat that keeps to themselves.June 5, 2024, 6:06 pm

Story
Merlin is Sponsored by: Margaret Loftus SNAP Cats rescued Merlin from Madera County, CA. Merlin is a real sweetheart. He loves human attention, and gets along with other kitties. Merlin’s head tilt is due to a bad untreated ear infection. We think it adds a lot of character! We believe Merlin’s twisted rear leg is a birth defect. None of this matters because Merlin gets around just fine. He’s a low maintenance kitty who deserves a wonderful, loving home. Is that your home? PLEASE NOTE: Merlin is currently spraying. We don’t know if it’s because of the environment here (other cats spraying) or not, but this should be taken into consideration. If you’re interested in Merlin please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/. Thanks!June 5, 2024, 6:06 pm

Story
Benny is sponsored by: Mark Van Slyke SNAP Cats rescued Benny from San Mateo, CA. Benny is the sweetest cat ever! He’s always ready for pets and attention, and if you’re seated on the ground, Benny will crawl into your lap, curl up and sleep until woken. Benny’s twisted front legs (radial hypoplasia or radial agenesis, take your pick) doesn’t prohibit him from anything, even climbing stairs. Benny’s great with other cats, and may be good with a cat-friendly dog (but we can’t guarantee it). Oh, did we mention wet food? Benny LOVES the wet food! Two, er, three helpings, please! If you’re interested in Benny please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.June 5, 2024, 6:06 pm
