How this pet arrived:Fancy Nancy was brought in by a community member on June 5, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you: Ooh-la-la! Make way for the most elegant wallflower in town: Fancy Nancy! While her name might suggest her life is all glitter and glam, this refined lady actually prefers a much more "quiet luxury" lifestyle. Nancy is a sensitive soul who finds the world a bit overwhelming and is quite nervous when it comes to touch. She is looking for a family that understands that "fancy" doesn't always mean "flashy," it means being patient and respecting her boundaries. Since she isn't walking on a leash just yet, she requires a private, enclosed potty space where she can handle her "business" with the privacy a lady deserves. To ensure a perfect fit, she's looking for a home without young children (under 12) and would like everyone in the household to be present for her debut. Expect a slow-burn romance with this gal - it will likely take an extended period of time for her to feel comfortable, so her adopters should never force an interaction. The golden rule is to always give her the choice to come closer or retreat to her "boudoir" for some alone time. While she may not be a fan of forced snuggles, you can absolutely bond over the finer things in life - like gourmet treats, yummy food, and gentle play. Nancy is a homebody who will likely always be a timid spirit, so she won't be joining you at busy cafes or crowded parks. Her future family should be prepared to continue her training and work with a vet to maintain her comfort through a specialized care plan or continued medications. FINN! ADOPT ME! I'M READY TO CRAWL INTO YOUR HEARTS! Finn is a mystery mutt. We guessed chi corgi at first, but they seem to have outgrown the chi part, we've considered Basenji, Shepherd, Min Pin, and more but the truth is we really don't know. 🤣 We think they will be medium large sized (55ish pounds) but we're not making any promises at this point. Finn is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. He's about 7.5 months old. Finn has been raised with dogs of all sizes. He gets along with them all. He's very happy go lucky. He loves to play. Working on his housetraining but getting there. He does pretty well on leash and loves to go to Starbucks! Crate trained, but he didn't really like the crate. He's not cat friendly. Currently in foster in So Cal, can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $300 includes neuter, microchip, core vaccines, and free access to online training programs that we purchase. Koda will be your best friend in the world! He loves unconditionally. At 4 years old, Koda still has a lot of energy. He still enjoys his daily naps though. He has some silly ways of sleeping too, as many shiba inu parents can attest to. When comfortable with you, he will sit next to you on the couch and give kisses when asked. Koda enjoys Tuffy toys as he can destroy most other toys in seconds. He loves to play tug and fetch as well. Koda would need to be the only pet in the home, as he resource guards his food against other dogs. He is great with older children, ages 10 and up. He does great with a yard, having access through a doggy door. He could be trained for apartment living or living with no yard and taking walks to go eliminate. Koda is crate trained. He uses the crate for night time and when he is home alone. Koda also knows "sit", "wait" and "give kisses". He is very treat motivated. Koda is microchipped and will be up to date on vaccinations when adopted.
