Story
Arya is an 8 year old Basenji/Jack Russel mix who loves cuddles and attention. She would do best in a home with no other pets (cats or dogs) and no small children and with someone who either works from home or is home alot! She struggles with separation anxiety which leads to accidents, chewing things and being angry. My husband and I try our best to give her all of the love and attention that she deserves and loves so much but now that we have a 2 year old toddler and we both work full time job outside of the home, we are not able to give her what she really needs. Someone who is versed in dog training could be very beneficial. She is up to date on all shots and spayed. She would be the perfect fit for.a family that is home often and able to giver her the correct training, love and attention that she desires!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zorro is such a sweet boy!! Unfortunately his owner had to surrender him to TLC K9 Rescue because he got very sick and just couldn't take care of him anymore. Zorro is a sweet pure breed 1 ½ yr old Basenji who is super playful, loving, affectionate, and gives lots of kisses too. But as most Basenji's he can be high-spirited, curious, charming and loves to clown around. At times he can also be aloof, independent and self-contained by relaxing with a yummy bully stick. He typically doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time, so if you work at home he'll be right at your feet or laying in his kennel. Zorro adores people, older considerate children and likes to play with other friendly dogs. He is crate, potty and leash trained. He's a smart boy who has learned several commands immediately. He loves his walks, but he must be kept on leash at all times!!! We are looking for an active and experienced family with the breed and if you have another young dog for Zorro to play with then that would definitely be a plus. If you live in the San Diego County have a home with a yard and a 6-foot fence and would like to adopt Zorro please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
The Peoria pups are here to play! These happy-go-lucky, friendly puppies were born to mama Peoria, a medium sized girl with a slender body type, ears that stick straight up and a sweet nature. We aren't quite sure her breed mix or what breeds are in her puppies. They are likely a mix of many breeds including Terrier, Basenji, Chihuahua, and Shepherd. We think these little ones are on track to be medium sized like their mama. The Peoria puppies are currently having lots of fun together in their foster home where they enjoy playing with toys and chasing after the resident adult dogs in their foster mom's backyard. Stark is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Peoria pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Please take a moment and go to www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt to complete our online dog adoption application. If you have any questions email us at doginfo@labsandmore.org or call us at 858-273-5386. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Meet Redford, an 8 yr old medium sized pooch at 43 lbs. Redford was just saved from a local kill shelter on his last day. This older boy has a second chance at life and he'd love to meet you. In the shelter Redford struggled. He paced, he was anxious, he was aloof. He was temperament tested with an older female dog and staff finally saw him wag his tail. Now he is out of the shelter, we want to see him have love in his life, and know what it is like to be a cherished pet. Redford appears to be an independent dog, but as he is just leaving the shelter, we look forward to learning more from his rescue about his personality. If you can give an older dog a fresh start and wish to long term foster or adopt, please inquire for an application.
