Part dog, part bat, all sunshine. Mishi was left at CACC for euthanasia because she was too old, but you would never guess this sweet girl is 14! She is a friendly girl who gets along with all her other foster dogs and cats and loves to be with people. As an older dame, she loves to cuddle up on the couch and relax, but she also has spurts of energy where she runs and plays with her foster siblings. She is fully house trained and very relaxed. She is not one to bark or get excited, she takes life as it comes. If you don’t fall in love with her wonderful personality, you’ll love her for her bat ears and her tiny white tippy toes! They absolutely adore attention and will happily follow you around, soaking up every bit of affection they can get. Watching them discover toys for the first time is pure joy—especially when they pounce on a crinkly one like it’s the best thing ever! These boys are full of love, curiosity, and resilience. So, I am strong- I strongly love you and play with you and others..... but only in a happy and exuberant way :) I have all kinds of love to give! So I was one of the "lucky ones", my "owner" was going to dispose of me..... not even sure WHY? Look at my face, why?? But a dog loving rescuer reached out to the rescue to help and here I am... ALIVE and LOOKING FOR A REAL FAMILY! I am smart and sweet and have the look of a Basenji or a Bull Terrier with a long crooked snout and a deep love for my people Now its your turn, do you have an active family?? Check! Story
She is a sweet and affectionate companion who really enjoys being close to her people. Because she has experienced a lot of stress in the past, loud noises or yelling can make her nervous, and in those moments she’ll often come over looking for cuddles and reassurance. Buddy is also house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside, which makes daily routines much easier. She definitely has a soft spot for the occasional table scrap and loves being included when her humans are around the kitchen. Like many dogs, she has her funny moments too—she can act a little silly sometimes and somehow turns into a surprisingly talented escape artist whenever bath time is coming up. Fun facts: Her satellite sized ears can hear a chip bag open from miles away. Overall, Buddy is a loving, playful dog who just wants to have fun, feel safe, and spend time with people who care about her.
