Part dog, part bat, all sunshine. Mishi was left at CACC for euthanasia because she was too old, but you would never guess this sweet girl is 14! She is a friendly girl who gets along with all her other foster dogs and cats and loves to be with people. As an older dame, she loves to cuddle up on the couch and relax, but she also has spurts of energy where she runs and plays with her foster siblings. She is fully house trained and very relaxed. She is not one to bark or get excited, she takes life as it comes. If you don’t fall in love with her wonderful personality, you’ll love her for her bat ears and her tiny white tippy toes! Please contact our shelter for more information.

Update from Kintsugi's foster: "Hello, I just wanted to send an update with my experience as temporary fostering Kintsugi this past weekend. He was the perfect house guest. He is truly a mellow, low maintenance kind of guy. He was slightly shy and timid at first but once he realized he was in a safe space he shined. Kintsugi gets his occasional zoomies and was quite playful with my female corgi but really prefers to spend most of his time in comfy spot to rest whether that be against a cool window where he can watch the squirrels in the trees or snuggled up on a plush dog bed. Once he trusts you he likes to follow you around the house from room to room. His first day with us he did have some accidents I believe just due to being overwhelmed in a new environment but the rest of the weekend he appeared to be house trained as we had no accidents the rest of the time with us. Of course any adopter should be understanding it may take time for him to get used to a new routine. While I was out of the house he free roamed and he was perfectly respectful, not destructive, no issues at all. He took his seizure meds like a champ folded up in a piece of cheese as well. He loved his cheese tax. No seizures noted."
