Fiona and her brother were found stray and no one looked for them. Fiona knows how to live in a home with a family. She gets along with animals and loves kids and toddlers. She is best suited for a home with another dog and a fenced yard. She is a sweetheart and will make a loving companion. Local area adoption fee $300, which includes her spay, rabies, multiple puppy vaccines, Bordetella, and booster, microchip, deworming's, and monthly parasite prevention. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. We prefer a Vet reference, current or previous to adopt a puppy under one year old. Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Maui looks to be a Border Collie/Basset mix, male, two years old, about 45 lbs.  His owner could no longer keep him so he came to us.  He is great with other dogs, very friendly and chill.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe.
