Hi, I'm Mr. Tobias Pickles! Yes, I know my name is a bit silly! My friends and I are from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. We were all competing for resources in such a small space that we were fighting each other often and many of us are covered in scars from our time living there. Since I was brought to VOCAL I have learned a lot of things I was never taught before, like walking on a leash and trusting people. Though, since I’ve never had home experience, I am not housetrained yet. But with some time and dedication it’s definitely something I can pick up on. One thing to know about me is I’m a pretty lazy guy, I prefer to spend a lot of time taking naps and being a couch potato. But I’m also a big snuggler once I know you. It still takes me a little bit of time to get used to new people, but with a little patience you’ll see what a goofy, lover-boy I am.

Hi, I'm Duchess Esme Wigglebutt the Third! Yes, I know my name is a bit silly! My friends and I are from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. Despite my rough start to life, I am the sweetest girl. I’ve made a lot of strides since being brought to VOCAL. I learned how to walk on a leash and how to trust people. Sometimes, I can still be a little shy or easily overwhelmed but it doesn’t take long for me to want to give you snuggles. I’m great with kids and other dogs, in fact I love to play with them! I’m still getting the hang of housetraining, but if I’m given the time and patience to settle into a house I will get better over time! I have so much love to give and would make the best companion if given the chance.

This sweet pitbull mix was pulled from a rural shelter’s euthanasia list while heavily pregnant and heartbreakingly thin. Despite everything she endured, her gentle spirit never faded. She gave birth to 14 beautiful puppies and cared for them with all the love she had left, until she was simply too weak to continue. Thanks to the help of another rescue, we were able to transfer a few puppies. Her puppies have are thriving — and now it’s Precious’s turn to heal and shine. Hey there! We're the fish puppies, named after fish! We came in with our mom, named Ahi (also available for adoption!) when our owner was suddenly evicted and didn't know what to do. We don't know what our dad was, but we suspect some kind of dachshund or bassett hound mix, as we all have very short little legs and are pretty small! Our mom, Ahi, weighs about 35lbs, so we can expect to be somewhere around 20-35 lbs full grown, but we're not really sure. We've all spent some time in foster homes starting to learn the basics of how to live in a house. We're very sweet and love people and other dogs! Let one of us swim into your heart!

He is good with cats, dogs, kids, chickens, goats... Diego doesn't seem bothered by much of anything. He has been living on a local farm and exposed to all sorts of fun and sun.
