Hey there, I'm Minnie, a sassy 4-year-old Basset Hound mix weighing in at 31lbs. I'm a social butterfly who quickly warmed up to my foster family. Living with other pups and kids is a breeze for me! Thanks to some top-notch care in Kentucky, I've bounced back from a back injury (suspected IVDD) and can now strut my stuff on walks. While I do prefer carpet to hardwood floors (slippery business, you know), I'm a pro at showing off my model moves outdoors. Quillen is a big goofy clumbsy sweet fella.. He is around 7 months old and we think a Bassit hound mix with who knows what else. He has shorter legs and big fat paws and a longer type body.. He is a great dog and gets along well w all other dogs. Story
Our dog Maximus has always been a sweet, mild mannered dog. He's house trained and never caused any problem. However, now he's 14yo and suffers from incontinence. He pees and poos in the house even though I let him out almost every two hours. I used to be remote work. However, starting next week, I will be required to come in at least 3 days a week. I can't leave him in the house by himself with the (3) other dogs that I have. He will be leaving his urine and feces all other the house with the other three dogs at risk of walking all over his wastes. He also mostly sleeps now. The second he feels any of the 3 dogs are coming near him, he barks constantly. He's never bitten anyone. He's always been a sweet, mild tempered dog. I just can't keep him at his current phase. He also has a hard time walking now, and can only walk about a block and he's tired. He also has a large fat deposit on his right shoulder which probably contributes to him having a hard time walking.

Once we receive it a volunteer will be in contact with you via email.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin c innati, Lexington KY,     or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
