Cally is a 6-year-old, possibly Bassett/Pitbull mix who weighs around 35–40 lbs and might just be one of the coolest-looking girls you’ll ever meet. She has a unique look, a gentle soul, and a heart ready for her forever home. We scooped Cally up back in October and have spent the past months working hard to get her allergies, ear, and skin issues under control. Thanks to lots of care and patience, she’s doing great—and now she’s finally ready to start the next chapter of her life. Cally is looking for a loving home that will: Take her on walks Enjoy some playtime Appreciate a good snuggle session  She’s a sweet, deserving girl who has come so far and truly deserves the very best home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with both personality and charm, Cally might be your perfect match.  We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. January 2, 2026, 9:46 am

Story
This little guy is Whiskey. He is a quiet dog and loves to sit and lay around. He is my neighbor's who unfortunately just passed away. We took him in for a little bit in hopes of re-homing him. We have a little puppy that doesn't like other dogs and doesn't know how to stay still around him. Please reach out with any questions. He is honestly the perfect dog.
