Sally is around 2 y/o Bassador (Basset/Labrador X). She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, on prevention, and treated for heartworms. She weighs around 45 pounds, is house trained, crate trained, good with cats, kids, and other dogs. Sally is absolutely gorgeous and such a sweet girl. She walks well on a leash and never meets a stranger. All of our foster homes love her and say she is the easiest dog to foster, but Sally needs a family of her own. She is being taken care of by her foster in Alabama. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We can bring her to a destination near you. Please consider adopting this beautiful girl.

Story
📯Attention all!📯 Meet Marsha, the self proclaimed Highness of Hounds!📯 As you can see by her face, Marsha is overall unimpressed with us as humans. In a city of hounds, Marsha thinks she’s the princess of the bunch and acts accordingly. She’s stubborn and does everything on her own terms. However, behind her disinterested face and nonchalant façade lies a spirit of whimsy and the over-affection only a hound can give! Marsha’s at her happiest at feeding time, often marking the occasion with her signature Happy Dance. If you’re lucky, she may even pull out her quirky dance moves when she’s exploring the world outside. She loves to poke around and discover everything she can, doing little shuffles and skips to express her excitement. With all her mannerisms and personality, you will find yourself bending over backwards to win over Marsha’s heart as there is nothing quite as rewarding as seeing her joy. Once she enters your life, you’ll make everything about Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! 👑We believe Marsha to be an 8-11 year old Beagle/Basset mix, though we’re unsure of her exact age and backstory. What we know is she’s a true character who captures the heart of all she meets! She weighs around 40lbs. 👑Although she believes she is a princess, Marsha’s not very demanding. She only expels energy if she feels it’s worth her time. Marsha is happy to just lay in her dog bed and laze around until mealtime. 👑Though she acts detached, Marsha absolutely adores her caregivers like no other! 👑Marsha has a heart of gold and is accepting of any fellow animal in her kingdom! She holds no prejudice and doesn’t feel any animal is beneath her. She gets along with dogs, cats, and anyone who is ready to cuddle! 🦄 👑Marsha is quite the explorer and will wander if left to her own means. She requires some kind of containment, though we also don’t feel she’d really understand an electric fence. 🚨 If you are interested in adopting Marsha: 🚨 ➡️ Email for an application at canineliberationleague@gmail.com ➡️ Or download or fill our the application on our website at www.canineliberationleague.com/application Once we receive a completed application that is APPROVED, we will do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we will set up meet & greets. Just because you apply for a foster dog, that doesn’t mean you will be called in regards to your application. Marsha is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, & Bordetella. She has been fecal & heartworm tested. She has also recently had a dental cleaning 🦷✨ 📍 LOCATION- South Lyon, Michigan

Story
After very much thought and consideration, Gladys (Gladdy) foster family has decided instead of keeping her it would be best for her to find a family of her own. One of the resident dogs in her current foster home has decided even though she loves Gladdy most of the time, there are certain situations that upset her which causes her to go after Gladdy and it's just not fair to her. Although her foster family's hearts are broken, they want to do what's best for her. Gladdy was found laying on the side of the road. She was scooped up by her rescuer after no one in the neighborhood recognized her. We are guessing Gladdy is American Pit Bull Terrier mixed with Basset Hound or possibly Corgi since she has such short stubby legs. She would likely be good with dog savvy cats. She is a total love bug and loves attention. She is still young and learning her manners, so kids over 5 would be best for her as she is still a little jumpy. She is also working on potty training. She loves to go for walks and human interaction. Another younger playful dog would be best for her. She is pretty athletic as well. She is very treat motivated so that makes training her that much easier. She will need heavy duty chew toys as she is still in the "puppy" stage. She has a silly goofy personality that makes her foster family laugh. Her foster family will be looking for the perfect home for her that will love her just as much as they do. Email cron_19@yahoo.com if you would like to meet Gladdy...

Story
It’s me Baxter. I am a middle aged, sweet beagle/basset boy. First note, I do prefer the ladies. I will wag my tail and go up to foster dad, but you can see me cower a little when I get close to him. But I have gotten much better with that. If you sit by me, I love the attention, but I am not really a snuggler so you have to initiate that. Next, as you can tell by my pictures, I could use some weight loss. I get very small portions at meal time, and amazingly for my size and short legs, I can get up and go pretty well, and love to go for walks. I know what the harness and leash are and get excited to go. You should see me run across the yard to get back in for a treat. Oh, and soft treats only, bleh, dry hard treats. LOL I am fairly quiet. Though I will let the squirrels know I have my eye on them. I won’t go up the stairs due to my short legs, so a ranch house would be great for me, or I am happy sleeping downstairs on the couch at night since I am in a two-story house currently. I will stay in the crate with no issues, but also have been pretty good with run of the house while my foster family is gone. I seem to go to the door when I need to go out. I have had a couple of accidents but it was on long work days for my foster parents or a couple of nights they did not hear me get up. I ride well in the car, usually just lying in the back seat. We have a fenced yard here, but they think I would be fine on a tie-out. I get along well with my foster brother, and would be good with a buddy, or as an only dog. My one issue is I HATE having my nails trimmed. Something that will need to be worked on. Luckily my foster dad has some suggestions! If you think I’m the right boy for you, contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor for more information. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
Sweet, petite, adorable Emmi is a cuddle bug with people and other dogs – she’s a moderate energy gal who would love to have a canine sibling to frolic with during the day and snuggle with at night. She can be timid when she meets new people, but her tail never stops wagging in hopes of receiving a friendly greeting. Emmi would love a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run and play with a canine sibling. She enjoys going for car rides and walks well on a leash, so she would be a pleasant companion for new adventures! Emmi will gently let you know when she has to potty and goes in the yard with no problem. She also does well with other dogs and children. When it’s bedtime, Emmi likes to sleep on the couch or in a dog bed curled up with another dog – but she has been known to sneak into bed to cuddle up with a human a time or two! If Emmi sounds like the perfect fit for your family, contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor or fill in your adoption application today! Story
Hi there, I am Alan – with the holidays coming I am hoping for a new home soon! I am such a happy guy and really gentle! I have no health issues and recently had a great dental, too! I came into the rescue when my family could no longer care for me. I am approximately 10 years old, but I don't act like a senior at all! I love to take walks, ride in the car, and meander around the house or the yard so see what is going on. I settle down quickly and love to sleep in the sun or next to my foster siblings while we keep foster mom company during the workday. I am very social and gentle and I love to snuggle with you on the couch. I am not a fence digger or jumper and I am housebroken! I have a very deep and loud bark so apartments probably wouldn't not work for me, but I am not a nuisance barker – I just love to eat so I make it known that it is taking too long to serve me! I really love my foster siblings, so it is thought that perhaps I would do best in a home with another dog. I am living with a cat as well and have shown no interest in her once I figured out what she was! I walk well on leash, but get slightly startled by loud cars. I am getting really used to it though and am definitely not a nervous nelly. I know how to sit and how to "go to my place" (any bed nearby can be my place). I am a bigger beagle at 32 lbs but don't really need to lose any weight. I hate to admit that I am not very photogenic for some reason. The pictures don't show how truly handsome I am! At night I sleep in my foster family's bedroom, either in my own bed or in their bed. I sleep well through the night. And another bonus is that I have full house privileges and don't need to be crated when left alone. If you are an approved adopter, please ask your adoption counselor about me! And if not, please put in an application! I look forward to meeting you soon!! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
