Odin is wonderful. Our lives took a turn and we have no time to meet his needs. He needs a lot of exercise and attention. He’s wel behaved and pure bred. House broken and all up to date on shots. He’s a great helper for hunting.

She came to us as a stray and was understandably very nervous at first, unsure if people could be trusted. While she still needs time to warm up to new faces, once you earn her trust, she gives it wholeheartedly. Shakira forms deep bonds and will love you like no other. She's happiest snuggled up on the couch with her favorite humans or zooming around the yard, soaking up life with joy. Shakira absolutely loves her dog foster brothers, so having another playful dog in the home is a must for her—she thrives with a canine companion to help build her confidence and burn off energy. Shakira is potty trained, crate trained, and highly food motivated, which makes her a quick learner. She's high energy but knows how to settle and relax, especially after playtime or a good walk. One of her most endearing traits is how excited she gets to greet her favorite humans in the morning—her happiness is contagious. She does well with small children once she gets to know them, but she can be a bit nervous around teenagers and may need patience and gentle introductions. Shakira loves going on walks and is learning her leash manners, though she's still prone to the occasional sudden lurch when an interesting smell catches her attention. With patience, love, and a playful dog sibling by her side, Shakira will blossom into an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion. She's a special girl just waiting for the right home to truly shine. COOKIE (female) Attributes: Likes car rides Good with kids over 4 yrs House trained Likes cats Dog friendly Medium energy Will potty on leash Cookie is a beautiful lemon Beagle who just turned 7 years old on Dec 28th. She is 27 pounds of snuggle bug extraordinaire!! Cookie was taken from her family and placed in a shelter for a couple of months where she started to deteriorate leaving her with trust and confidence issues. She does NOT like being alone but will tolerate for a couple of hours. Gets along with other dogs but doesn't engage in play. Lives with 4 resident cats in her foster home with no issues. She is house trained and will potty on leash while enjoying her walks in the woods. Loves to have her head out the car window for a bit then lays down in the seat to rest. Does well with children over 4 years old. She sleeps all night in her bed but would love to cuddle in the big bed if allowed! Low to medium energy, she sleeps a lot during the day but always up for a walk! If you are looking for the sweetest little lovey and would like to help her gain trust and confidence then she will be your best companion. CORI Female 8 years Attributes Adult home only preferred Single dog home Dog friendly Good w/cats Requires a fence Housetrained Good in cars Cori is a sweet beagle girl with an adorable underbite. She was obviously very much loved in her previous home, but sadly, her mom passed away. Now, at 8 years old, Cori is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. An adult-only home where she can have ample time to settle in would be best for Cori. She would prefer a quiet lifestyle (no cities or busy neighborhoods for Cori) and would like to be the only dog in the household. That being said, Cori enjoys her visits to doggy daycare where she can socialize with other dogs. Cori also does well with cats. Cori will thrive in a home where she has a regular routine and will be walked daily so her beagle nose can be used to its fullest potential. She’s house trained, but she doesn’t potty on leash, so a fenced yard is a must. Car rides with Cori are a breeze – she’s the perfect passenger when it’s time to hit the road! Because Cori was displaying some behavior that we wanted to better understand, we sent her to a certified professional dog trainer. Cori was already on medication for general anxiety, and she underwent thorough behavioral and medical evaluations to determine if there was something else that was affecting her behavior. We discovered that Cori’s underbite was causing a lot of jaw pain, and her discomfort was affecting how she interacted with the world. Since starting daily anti-inflammatory medication, Cori has bloomed beautifully. According to her trainer, she now has a good appetite and is a “total foodie.” Her confidence has increased, she’s more playful and more at ease meeting new people, and she has learned to ignore distractions while she’s on leash.
