Story
Meet Bronx—a cute little chunk with a sturdy build, squatty legs, and a personality that’s just as solid as he is. He’s the kind of dog whose eyes sparkle, as if he’s got a secret to share-he’s a charmer!
When Bronx first arrived, the world felt a bit overwhelming. He had been found as a stray in Texas. Although he was microchipped, his previous owner chose not to reclaim him. That fresh start left him understandably nervous in the beginning. In his kennel, he would “tap dance,” shifting and stepping anxiously as he tried to settle. But once he was given a larger airline-style kennel, everything changed. The cozier, more secure space seemed to help him feel safe—and now he does great in his kennel, resting comfortably and calmly.
Bronx may be built low to the ground, but every now and then he surprises you with a burst of zoomies. Watching this sturdy little guy take off across the yard on his short legs is *chef’s kiss*. He’s goofy, playful, and clearly enjoys soaking up the simple joys of life.
When he gets especially excited, Bronx can be a little mouthy—but it’s all in good fun. There’s nothing aggressive about it; it’s just his enthusiasm bubbling over. Because of that, he may do best in a home without very small children, just to ensure everyone’s play styles match comfortably.
At heart, Bronx is a happy, affectionate boy who just needs a second chance to feel secure. Now that he’s settling in and showing his true personality, it’s clear he’s ready for a home where he can continue to feel safe, loved, and appreciated.
