Her body is long-ish, but her face looks more like a pug or terrier mix. She has a nice temperament and is good with other dogs. Would like a quiet home.   Caitlin is currently with a partner rescue group in KY, and needs a foster home secured to come to MN. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Sammy, he’s a delightful 7 year old, 70lb basset hound. He is never short of happiness. Sammy is a model citizen and can be left alone in the house. Sammy loves to lay around, but he will protect his people, although not excessively.  Sammy gets along with other dogs but if they show aggression, he will stand his ground.  We are told that Sammy can have some food aggression with other dogs.  Sammy is great with kids and they are naturally drawn to him.  Adoption fee includes: full veterinary exam, neuter, prepaid microchip, 4DX, Rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dewormer, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Hi I'm Zeke! I am from Arkansas! From the foster: He is very loving and energetic dog. Gives lots of kisses and cuddles. Listens well with a simple snap of a finger if he is doing something he should not and stops. He is going through a teething phase so chew toys are a must for him right now. He does well with being in the kennel at night. He had a routine and goes in when asked to kennel up. Over all a very good boy. Love kids and playful with my other little dogs. He has a routine and goes in when asked to kennel up. Has not had an accident in the house since the 2nd day I got him. Just give him frequent potty breaks through out the day. His que for going potty is sitting by the door and pawing at it or whimpering. He is easy to read with what he wants and loves walks around the neighborhood. As for kenneling up during the day he does whimper some at first. I make sure to have toys in there for him.

Meet Alaric! Sweet little Alaric aka Ricky has the cutest little Dobby ears and he has the big paws, short legs and long body of a basset hound! He loves playing with other dogs and with playful cats, so he'd love to have friends in his forever home! Ricky is about 4 months old and weighs 17 pounds. He's learning with potty training, and he loves to follow around his fosters. He prefers to avoid crowds, so he's more of a homebody, but he likes going on walks with his pack. When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away!
