Hello my name is Caramel, I'm from Minnesota! From her foster: Caramel is a 1-year-old Basset Hound with all the charm, curiosity, and character the breed is famous for. She has a bit of a stubborn, bossy streak (she is a Basset, after all), but at the end of the day she mostly just wants to be right by your side—following you from room to room. She loves spending time outside, taking in the smells, and she’s always very interested in what’s happening in the kitchen. When the day winds down, Caramel sleeps quietly through the night. Caramel would thrive in a home that appreciates her personality, gives her time to explore the outdoors, and doesn’t mind a loyal shadow with a little attitude. She is dog friendly but can be a little bossy. She is good with kids and goes easily in her crate with a treat. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, Caramel might be your perfect match.
