Story
Deuce, also responds to Deucy, is a handsome and energetic basset hound/lab mix who is approximately 1 year old. He weighs about 40 pounds, has a long body with short legs. He has a sleek black coat with brown markings on his chest and paws, and brown eye brows giving him a unique and striking appearance. Deuce is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves to play and interact with people, and other friendly dogs. He is great with children of any age and enjoys running around and playing fetch in the yard. He is very intelligent and likes to learn new commands and tricks with positive reinforcement training. As of right now he knows basic commands like Sit, Lay down and ‘give me paw’. Deuce also loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. Deuce is up to date on all his vaccinations and has been neutered. He is in good overall health and has no known medical issues. Deuce is also house trained, crate trained and does well on a leash during walks. If you are considering adopting Deuce, please keep in mind that he will require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy. He loves the dog park and loves open fields to run around in. He thrives on attention and would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of love and affection. Deuce is a wonderful dog who would make a great addition to any loving family.
