Story
Meet Daisy Belle ❤️Some dogs come into your life with a story. Daisy Belle came with a mystery. She was found in a very remote area on a farm, and no one knows how she ended up there. What we do know is that whoever adopts Daisy Belle will be gaining an absolute treasure. At 28 pounds of pure love, Daisy Belle is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She bonds quickly and deeply with her people and simply wants to be where you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or settling in for the night, Daisy Belle is happiest by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, never causing a fuss. If another pet wants to play, she's happy to join in. If not, she's perfectly content to go with the flow. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion in a variety of households. Daisy Belle loves treats, looks forward to every meal, and has excellent house manners. She is fully potty trained, happily goes outside to do her business, and comes right back in. At bedtime, she loves to snuggle and sleeps soundly through the night. While Daisy Belle isn't a fan of being crated, she doesn't need one. She is well-behaved in the home and doesn't spend her time getting into mischief. She can stay home alone when necessary, but she would thrive with a family where someone is around much of the time. More than anything, she loves companionship and being part of the daily routine. As for her breed mix, your guess is as good as ours! She appears to be a unique combination of Basset Hound and Boxer or perhaps Basset Hound and Bulldog. Whatever her DNA may say, the result is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big heart, a charming personality, and plenty of love to give. Daisy Belle's beginnings may be a mystery, but her future is easy to imagine: curled up beside the people she loves, finally home where she belongs.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in helping this girl!!!!!!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 15, 2026, 9:16 pm

Meet Japan, a 1-year-old, 25â€Â㦊-pound mix of Corgi and Basset. (Note his short legs!) The best way to describe him is to quote his foster’s description. “Very playful, dog friendly, vocal, loves to jump, loves playing with his kennel mate, loves to give kisses and just all around wants all the attention!” Sounds like a great dog to me! Don’t you think? (posted 3/7/26, ME) ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **June 15, 2026, 10:44 pm

Story
Lola is a 3-year-old, 44-pound “lowrider” with a one-of-a-kind look—likely a Pit Bull/Basset Hound mix—and an even more lovable personality to match. This adorable girl came to us as an owner surrender and has already proven herself to be a wonderful companion in a home setting. She’s well-behaved and was trusted to free roam, which speaks to her good manners. Lola is potty-trained and enjoys the simple joys of life—walks, toys, and treats. She especially loves bringing her favorite toy along on walks, which is as charming as it sounds. Lola is a social butterfly who thrives around others. She loves the dog park and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She has also lived successfully with cats and children, including young kids, making her a great candidate for a variety of home environments. Above all, Lola is incredibly affectionate. She’s snuggly, friendly, and always happy to be near her people. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, she’s all in. Lola is currently dealing with allergies and may require ongoing medication to keep her feeling her best. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a fun personality and lots of heart, Lola might just be your perfect match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
Hi!  My name is Vanna and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my siblings were given up to a small rescue who were able to get us into a dog prison program known as "New Leash on Life" where we have been learning all sorts of stuff like, sit, stay, leash walking and even some house breaking.  We appear to be bassets possibly mixed with something else (also known as low-riders) and we will be about 5 months old when we become available to meet on Saturday, June 27th.  I am the middle of us weight-wise at almost 24lbs but I'm low, long and lean!  Being of the hound breed mix, I would love to have a fenced yard to explore safely.  I am a happy-go-lucky kind of girl and as any typical young adolescent, I will need continued training and socialization to become the great adult dog I'm already on my way to becoming.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
Hi!  My name is Bridgette and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunatey for me, a BCAA volunteer saw my picture and started the process on getting me out of there.  I was very happy to be out of there but was still pretty scared when I first came into foster, but everyone has been so nice to me that I have started coming out of my shell and discovering I love attention from anyone willing to give it to me (belly rubs are really good, too).  I appear to be maybe a mix of a basset (my legs are only a couple inches) with possiby a boxer?  Whatever I am, my foster mom says I am super cute with a personality to match.  The vet put me a little over a year old and I weigh around 24lbs.  It also looks like I have had puppies recently and was probably abandoned right after they were weaned.  While I'm not aggressive towards other dogs, I prefer calmer ones that do not get in my face; so far I haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have done really well in my crate which I will go in readily as I feels it's my safe space unless, of course, I'm allowed to be out with you.  I am good on leash with just a little bit of encouragement.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
