Bug is a 4-year-old Basset Hound/Beagle mix with short legs, a long body, and a nose that never quits. He came to us from another rescue. At 35 lbs., he may look compact, but don’t be fooled—this little guy is strong and loves to move. Bug’s favorite thing in the world is getting out for brisk, scent-filled walks where he can follow his nose and take in all the smells. He’ll need some help with leash manners, as he can pull when something exciting catches his attention. Despite his enthusiasm on walks, Bug is an easygoing, happy-go-lucky companion who enjoys people and takes life as it comes. He’s open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and would do well in a home with kids. Jeremy has returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. Unfortunately, there has been a change in the family dynamic and sadly neither party is in a position to take him, so he was returned to the safety of the shelter where we are going to find this young man another family to love him. He has been spending his days keeping his owner company while they worked from home, so we are unsure how he is going to handle long days home alone. He was trusted to roam the home freely because he`s potty trained and a good boy. He is not crate trained but with a little patience hell get it if you work outside the home. Reportedly he has been good with kids of all ages, but he does jump up to greet. He is reactive to both dogs and cats so he needs to be the only pet, but he is an awesome companion and has enough love to satisfy any family. Don`t let Jeremy wait long.

Hailing from Kentucky and found as a stray, she is surprisingly well adjusted and social with both humans and dogs. She has the most STUNNING eyes, and absolutely loves posing for a camera because it means she will get the thing she loves most – attention! Sasha is a naturally playful puppy, with lots of energy to spare. She does best when provided with lots of activity, both of human and canine variety. We actively engage her in walking and hiking, and also give her space to romp in the backyard with our pack.
