Our dogs are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or any of our other delivery location. This pup was born to a basset hound lab mix mom. She was born 7-1-22. This pup is shy at first. She warms up great though. This pup likes cats and loves other dogs. We have started crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current on vaccines and preventives and microchipped. She is spayed and heartworm tested(negative).This pup will receive a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all health records with adoption. Ted was surrendered to a local animal control along with Ada and Theo who are also available for adoption. Ted is 1 year old and weighs around 55lbs. Ted is one of 6 dogs in total that were surrendered from the same home. All of them were very nice dogs. You can see how much Ted loves attention from people - his tail wags nonstop! And he loves people both young and old! Thed was surrendered to a shelter along with Theo SCAS and Ada SCAS who are also available for adoption. We've included a photo of them playing together in the shelter play yard. The man who surrendered him said that Ted's father was a Basset Hound and his mother was a Rat Terrier! Ted loves to play in the yard at the kennel with Theo and Ada - he also gets along well with other dogs. He also walks well on a leash, too. He’s Popeye the sailor man! However he and his sister, Olive, haven’t had the chance to do much sailing yet. But they have both proven themselves to be strong and courageous since they were found running through the streets together and scavenging for survival. They were found by a good samaritan who called the local animal control, but since there’s not a shelter, they discovered that they would have been euthanized immediately. We couldn’t let that happen, so we took them in. Popeye loves to play with and carry around toys, and he will bring them to you in an effort to get you to play with him. Popeye has been to the vet for his initial vetting and vaccinations, and the vet believes he is just 4 months old. He weighs 18 pounds. He is currently in Texas with a foster, but will be transported to the NJ area once adopted.
