Looking for a pocket sized hound in your life? Miss Reba Mcentire is your girl! Reba was recently surrendered to us by her owner. She is a spunky, playful, and simply adorable little lady! Reba is a typical hound, so she can be vocal and loves to follow her nose. Reba is potty trained and her previous owner says she can be trusted without a crate when left alone in the house. Reba would do best in a home with children 10 years or older, as she is unaware of her size and will knock little ones over. She does well with other dogs, and previously lived with a small senior pup. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Reba home. Story
Luna is sweet, affectionate, and full of personality once she trusts you. She prefers a close circle of human friends — quality over quantity! Luna is spunky and energetic, but she’s just as happy to curl up for a nap after a satisfying chew session. She absolutely lives for treats, especially watermelon, and she’s quick to win hearts once she feels safe. Luna has lived with other dogs but can be a bit particular with her canine companions. She will thrive with people who give her space to come out of her shell at her own pace. The best kind of home for Luna: Luna needs a calm, adult-only home where introductions are slow and respectful of her boundaries. Her ideal adopter will be patient and willing to earn her trust over time. While she can coexist with other dogs, she may prefer being the only pup. Luna also has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), a manageable condition that affects her ability to digest food properly. She takes daily supplements and medication, and with consistent care, she has done beautifully. Luna is ready to share her love and loyalty with someone who sees her for the gem she truly is.
