Monty is a calm, quiet senior who came to us with his bestie, Emery, and needs to be adopted with her. He enjoys walks (but gets tangled up in the leash!) and gets along well with everybody, including other dogs, cats, and kids. His favorite thing to do is sleep, especially now that he's in a loving foster home with cozy dog beds. Emery and Monty came to us in rough shape, but they're thriving in their foster home and we're working on their healthcare needs. **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Bambi! 🐾 Sometimes life can feel like a fairytale, and for Bambi, that’s exactly how it feels now. Bambi was first found with her daughter, Thumper, at a flea market after rescuers were notified that both had been dumped when they were no longer considered “salable.” Despite this rough start, Bambi’s dream came true when rescuers brought her and her daughter into our care. Now, Bambi’s daughter is in her forever home, but Bambi still waits patiently. As she waits, she loves to play, with her little ears flopping through the air as she runs around without a care in the world. After a long day of fun, Bambi enjoys cuddling on the bed surrounded by her plushies. In foster care, Bambi was around both kids and cats and did really well. She has met other dogs her size and did well too. She has a lot of energy though, and would do best with others pets that match her energy levels. This sweet pup loves to play and show affection, and she hopes to find the perfect home where she can live out the rest of her fairytale life. 11 y/o Beebe is a Bassett mix who was surrendered to HBHR when his family moved out of the country. They were afraid that he would not do well with a long quarantine. He was extremely over-weight, and it was amazing that he could get around on his legs! It has taken several months but Beebe has gone from 87 pounds to 50+ ponds and is looking great! He has a spring to his step and can now run with the pack when an alert goes out about a squirrel sighting! He can be a bit grouchy when napping and younger pups step on him in their games but is usually mild mannered and only barks when the pack decides it is time to sing! Beebe is affectionate and is first to come for pets in the morning when you first get up. He wants his pets and has no interest in hearing about your full bladder! This sweet boy is good around people and kids and will do well with or without a canine companion.
