Stocky boy is learning to loose leash walk. Found off Hwy 90 near river bottom before Thanksgiving. He prefers being indoor on raised bed. Does well on short car rides to vet, groomer, hardware store, or pick up order at drive thru food store. Rides with car seat belt snap on harness but prefers riding in back seat on longer car rides. He likes ear rubs, belly or neck scratches and running loose in yard. UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative, neutered, and takes flea-tick preventative. Leroy is 1.5 yo brown medium size dog that is clever and learns best with consistency. 6 ft privacy fence yard. Training on 10 ft leash for slower sniff exploration or walk on 6 ft leash for brisk exercise.

Pumpkin is an 8 year old girl with a lot of smiles and love to give. She gets along well with most dogs but loves her peace. She is potty trained and loves kids. She is loves going on walks but will start beef with cows 👀🤣 I am moving away from Texas and can no longer care for Pumpkin. I would love to rehome her with a family that has the time to care for her and give her lots of belly rubs.

BEST WAY TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS PUP EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG MARIGOLD came into the shelter as a stray on 7/10/26 WITH OTHER dogs - several of whom were puppies of varying ages - after being found eating trash near a dumpster at the Home Depot parking lot. The person who found them took them home for a day before bringing them to the shelter. MARIGOLD was terrified by the shelter intake process and was placed in isolation kennels due to alligator rolling and needing to DECOMPRESS. She is staying as far away from staff as she can and is ACTIVELY TREMBLING. The staff want her out so she can recover. She is, no doubt, under extreme mental distress at the shelter. PLEASE HELP HER The finder was able to pick her up and put her in the car. She is NOT rescue only so she can be responsibly ADOPTED or she can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer her stability and commitment until she gets her Furever home. MARIGOLD is listed as a female, tan Beagle and Pittie mix of about years old weighing 38lbs.   ##2807366##

This is Trace- and although he came in a skinny and scared stray- he is one of the bravest dogs staff have ever met. No matter how interesting his surroundings are - his focus will always be on you :).This sweetheart warms up to anyone immediately - and automatically goes for a lap or a hug with a kiss. Trace is slowly fattening up- and munches his treats heartily. His mission in life is to be with you- and will guard you with his heart and all his might. Hello there the adoption fee is $30.00 CHECK ONLY it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 30 day window can be extended however A VETS LETTER IS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
