Meet Alfred!
Alfred is a goofy, lovable 4-year-old pup who will steal your heart in no time. He’s a nap enthusiast, cuddle bug, and belly-rub connoisseur. If you forget to rub his belly, he’ll gently place his paw on your hand as a reminder. While he’s full of energy in the mornings, he settles into being a lazy boy throughout the day—especially with his favorite Benebone toy.
Alfred loves attention and won’t hesitate to “speak up” if you’re not giving him enough. He thrives in the company of people and other dogs and absolutely adores being the center of attention. He’s known to greet you in the morning with jumps and kisses, and he’s happiest when he’s close by your side. A bit of an anxious guy, he prefers not to be left alone for too long and is always ready to offer emotional support with cuddles and quiet companionship.
He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come—and he’s almost mastered rolling over! Alfred hasn’t been tested with cats, so slow introductions are recommended. He’s great with children, though he can be a bit jumpy when excited—he just wants to smother everyone with love.
Car rides are another favorite activity, especially with the window down so he can stick out his “big little nose.” He may get a bit anxious if you step out of the car without him, but he settles with reassurance.
Alfred would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, a loving family, and ideally another dog to play with. He loves his walks, especially with all the exciting smells to explore. But his favorite part of the day? Curling up with you after work, falling asleep right on top of you.
He’s affectionate, smart, food-motivated, and always ready for kisses, cuddles, and bum scratches. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally and make you smile every day, Alfred is your guy.
