Lennon is the last male from a litter of 8 that came to us as a result of an unwanted litter. Mom was told to us to be an Akita/Shepherd mix and Daddy was a Lab but Lennon looks like he has some Basset in him. Look at his feet and short legs. No matter what he is, he is a great young adult- just a year old now and about 49 lb.. Many breeds have a brindle coloring, one of which is Dutch Shepherd or Hound. This may be where their coloring is coming from. Lennon walks great on a leash and is easy to handle. He is loving and loves to be petted. Meet Winnie, a loveable and friendly 4 month old full-bred basset hound puppy! Winnie loves playing with dogs and people, enjoys lots of toys, and does well in a crate. Her foster home has small children ranging from ages 3 to 8, as well as 4 other dogs, and Winnie gets along great with everyone. For such a tiny hound, she has a mighty bark and likes to be in charge. Winnie needs a home that will have the time to dedicate to training a puppy, as she is still working on potty training and having good manners. Winnie came to BRAT when her previous owner suddenly needed to care for his father in another state and was unable to give Winnie the time and attention she needs. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Please met Jax, a sweet, loveable 10 1/2 year old senior who recently came to BRAT when his owner relocated to another town and didn’t think it was fair for Jax to spend so much time alone. Jax has enjoyed being with the other dogs in his foster home, loves meeting new people, rides well in the car, and is crate and house trained. He is a smart little guy who learned to use the doggie door after being shown one time! Snuggling on the couch with his head in your lap is his favorite pastime time.
