Betty now is spayed, plumped up and coming into her own. She loves to cuddle with kids and has quite a beagle song when in her happy place. In October 2024, WEACT and 14 other rescue organizations headed to a puppy mill site in Busan that had over 550 dogs. This horrendous site was also located next to a dog meat farm. The site, where many animals were slaughtered, bore horrifying traces on the various machines and tools. In a place where death is a daily reality, Bert was rescued there.
