Nilla was rescued from a litter in Mexico. She has tons of energy, loves to go on walks, and will play throughout the day. She does fine with kids, but not with other dogs or people she doesn't know very well. She'll usually bark at those she doesn't know. She tends to be quite skiddish, and will lash out at other dogs she may see in the distance. She takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but is loving, especially at night time when she gets cuddly.

Frankie is 13 years old, very sweet, and still very spirited. She is food-motivated and protective of her treats, toys and food items. She is starting to lose her eyesight but physically she is still in great shape. During the pandemic, she developed some separation anxiety, so as of now she needs to be crated when humans leave the house. An experienced pet owner / trainer would do very well with Frankie since she could really use some more patience and training regarding her anxiety issues. She is on fluoxetine which has done a bit to calm her down. She also barks and acts protective of us around strangers when they come to the door- so she must be introduced to any new people outside the home. Otherwise, she enjoys walks and cuddles (on her terms!) and a lot of stimulation. If you take her for a walk and give her some treats, you will become her new best friend. She's smart as a whip so she can still learn new tricks. She has no allergies and is up to date on all vaccines.
