Introducing Kevin Pawstner – a 2-year-old, 19 lb beagle with the heart of a hero and the zoomies of a firecracker! Found as a stray, this tenacious little guy is now stealing hearts in Northeast Florida. He recently stole the show on a local program, River City Live! Kevin is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—ready to leap into his next role as your loyal sidekick. He’s crate trained, mostly housebroken (occasional marking—he’s working on it!), and adores kids and most dogs. But sorry, no cats allowed in this action flick. He’s happy, energetic, and would crush agility or scent work. Just like his namesake Kevin Costner, he’s loyal, protective, and doesn’t take any guff—especially from dogs he doesn’t vibe with (cue dramatic growling scene). Adoption fee is $250. Home visits are required and non-negotiable. Adoptable through The London Sanctuary. Ready to add some blockbuster energy to your life? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Jimmy Howlin’ – The Late Night Snoozer! (Yes, he’s named after Jimmy Fallon, but our guy prefers naps to monologues.) Breed: Mystery Mutt Extraordinaire (aka Beagle) Age: 9-10 years Weight: 37 lbs of pure lounge energy Vibe: Sloth in a dog suit Special Skill: Barking only when someone’s taking too long with the food About Jimmy Howlin’: Ever wonder what it would be like to adopt a potato with legs and a soul? Meet Jimmy Howlin’ – the most chill canine this side of late night TV. Jimmy is the undisputed king of slow-motion living. He’s not in a rush and neither should you be. Want a dog that won’t demand jogs, fetches, or even mild movement? Jimmy’s your guy. Housebroken-ish: He’s subtle. Like, "I’ll just gently meander to this one spot and hope you notice I gotta go" subtle. Take him out regularly, and you’ll both be just fine. He's a creature of habit... and that habit is not pooping indoors. Obedient? Manners? Jimmy’s so well-mannered he could host a tea party. He once shredded a piece of paper and touched the counter – it was his rebellious phase. He’s since returned to his life of monk-like calm. Dog/Cat/Kid Compatibility: Dogs? Sure. Cats? Cool. Kids? Unknown, but as long as they’re not loud like a firework and made of chaos, we suspect he’ll just slowly walk away. He mostly ignores other animals, but he does like the company of a chill dog buddy. On Walks: Nervous Nellie outside, Backyard Boss inside. He’s got a bit of a limp and a very casual relationship with stairs (he goes up, but coming down is a group project). He’s gaining confidence, one tiny step (and leash) at a time. Training & Commands: Jimmy doesn’t know any commands, and honestly? He doesn’t need to. He’s got that quiet wisdom that says, “Let’s just sit here and vibe.” Fun Facts & Party Tricks: Barks only when food is involved. Gets the zoomies maybe once every 3-5 business days. Will do a hop when snacks are spotted. Glares at dogs who take too long getting to dinner like an old man yelling at clouds. Health & Beauty Notes: He was treated for heartworms, walks like he’s practicing tai chi, and rocks a gentle limp. He’s not in pain – just leaning into the grandpa aesthetic. What Jimmy Needs: A quiet, patient home where someone understands that not every dog wants to be a lap dog or a fetch fiend. Jimmy needs someone who loves slow mornings, quiet evenings, and the occasional barky food celebration. A fenced-in yard would be chef’s kiss. If your dream dog is basically an introverted food critic with a heart of gold and the vibe of a dog-shaped cloud, Jimmy Howlin’ is ready to be your low-energy soulmate. Apply today and prepare to be gently ignored (until snacks arrive). Adoption Fee: $250.00 **Included:** - Neutered - Up to date on all vaccines - Microchipped - Heartworm treated Adoption Requirements: Home visits required and non-negotiable Adoptable through: The London Sanctuary Fostered in: Jacksonville, FLVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 26, 2025, 10:32 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! The prettiest sweetest beagle in the world - meet Miss Luna! Her expressive eyes will melt your heart. This 25lb. girl who just turned 6 years old loves humans and is best with older children if the home has kids. Luna is dog friendly, even towards small dogs. We are not sure but she may have a preference for male dogs, so if the home has a female dog, a pre-meet is necessary. Miss Luna is currently living with cats in her foster home with no issues. Since she is a hound, she is very interested in outdoor kitties, squirrels, raccoons and other small animals.   Luna knows sit, stay and wait for dinner. She is very food motivated and will be easy to train. One of her special talents is to counter surf - so it is best to keep her out of the kitchen or make sure food is not within her reach - until she has been trained not to do this.    Luna is house trained, crate trained, loves riding in the car and her favorite toy is a chew bone.  She is a medium-energy gal and loves going for walks, although she does pull a little, she is easy to correct. She has a slight fear of loud noises in her past, including thunder, but is easily consoled. She does get anxious at vet visits and does not like her nails trimmed, but is not aggressive.   A special need of Miss Luna is to make sure she stays on a prescription urinary diet dog food. She had recent bladder surgery and one stone was found and removed. A prescription diet will help prevent her from developing new stones. We are requiring a secure fenced yard for her.   Miss Luna is a healthy and gorgeous Beagle. Super sweet and in need of someone to give her time and attention. Will that lucky person be you? If you believe you have the perfect home for Luna, and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please complete and app and tell us more about you.     May 24, 2025, 4:47 pm
