Story
Hello- my name is Macaroni! I was rescued with several other dogs from a property where our owner was no longer physically able to care for us. Thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us and provided the general and medical care we needed to be ready for forever homes! While I am still a little shy at first, I warm up very quickly once I know you- especially if you have some good treats! I am estimated at 9 months old as of the end of January and look like my mix could include some beagle and/or chiweenie in a larger package. I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too. Due to my background before being rescued, I am looking for someone who will understand my shyness and be patient while I gain more confidence. I would love it if we could take some classes together so I can learn how to be the best dog possible! My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, neuter, microchip and deworming. If you want to make me part of your family please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Iggy 12 years young and lively, loves to walk and play with his toys. He spent most of his life in a crate! What a love bug and such a happy 50pound baby! Very chill and well behaved housebroken too. He just needs love and a little exercise and air conditioning. A great companion Foster reports he’s settling in well, could be left at home alone while at work. He’s affectionate and also goofy. He’s a good boy! Adoption Fee $150 Please complete an adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/202126352339045 Applications are evaluated in the order received. Story
Meet Penny! 🐾 Penny was born in July 2025 and came to us from a breeder. She’s a sweet, gentle girl with a calm, affectionate personality. Penny has a brother, Pete, who is also available for adoption, but they do not need to be adopted together. Penny is on the quieter side and loves nothing more than curling up in bed with her people. She’s social, enjoys meeting new people, and does well with other dogs. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, she should do fine given her young age and easygoing nature. She is crate trained and ready to continue learning in her new home. Penny would thrive in an active home where she can grow, explore, and truly blossom. If you enjoy staying active and want a loving companion by your side, Penny may be the perfect match for you. Adoption Fee: $750 This includes vaccinations, microchip, and spay.

Story
Pete is a purebred Beagle puppy, born July 9, 2025. He has a sister named Penny—they can be adopted together, but it’s not required. Pete is funny, loving, and full of personality. He’ll make you laugh with his silly antics and, like any Beagle pup, he absolutely loves to play. He’s social, sweet, and ready to bring joy to his future family. A little note from Pete's foster Mom: "Pete is a sweet snuggle bug. He has energy and loves every dog he meets. He is learning to walk on a leash, and doesn’t bark at dogs or people. He is "go go go" until he passes out for a couple of naps and then goes to sleep in his crate at night. He is a little timid at first but he is eager to please and loves affection". Pete was surrendered to us by a breeder. Unfortunately, many breeders dispose of puppies if they don’t sell quickly—something we see far too often. Pete is one of the lucky ones. He is healthy and thriving, and now just needs a loving home. If you know Beagles, you already know how wonderful they are—loyal, curious, affectionate, and full of charm. Pete is all of that and more. Reach out if you’d like to meet Pete or learn more about adopting him (or Penny!). His adoption fee is $750.00 which includes vetting and neutering. We are a small rescue, and a portion of this fee helps support the ongoing care of our dogs, including Milo, a Little Cavalier who requires surgery on both back legs. This is how we ensure every dog receives the proper medical care and support they deserve. Please note our adoption policies: We do not adopt to families with young children. Seniors are encouraged to consider adopting a more mature dog. We do not adopt out of State unless the adopter has a second home in our area. Thank you for understanding and for supporting responsible rescue and adoption.
