Story
Hello- my name is Aiden! My siblings and I were found all by ourselves down in the Redlands in Miami. We were barely old enough to be away from our mama and were cold, hungry and scared! Thankfully, some nice people picked us up and contacted Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue- who immediately brought us to the rescue. We are now all ready to find our very own homes and families to love!I am estimated at 14 weeks old as of mid May and weigh about 20 lbs. I am a mixed breed pup- maybe with some weinmariner and Beagle - best guess? Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m not one with crazy energy and have a gentle style of play. I get along great with my siblings, so wouldn’t mind another dog to play with in my new home. I will need help with my potty training schedule and leash training. My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and neuter at one of my rescue's vets (Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Naples, Miami or Orlando) when I'm closer to 6 months of age (contractually required). If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Hello- I’m Finn. I was found with my sister Olli in a Miami trailer park that was being demolished. A Good Samaritan caught us and reached out to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue asking for help for us. After a short stay at the vet’s office, we came to the rescue to get the care we needed to be ready for our forever homes. While it would be nice to get to stay together, we are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately-what is most important is to find us a loving forever family either together or separate.I am estimated at 2 1/2 yrs old, last weighed in at 24 lbs and appear to be a puggle possibly mixed with a small terrier. I walk well on leash and also love playing in the big yard with all the toys. I have been friendly with other dogs; doing a supervised meet and greet first is always best tho! I am working on potty training and will need your help setting a schedule that works for both of us.My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming. If you want to make me part of your family please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. Story
Hi! My name is Cindy Lou! I'm a friendly, affectionate puppy estimated at 6 months old and weighing in around 26 lbs as of the end of April. I appear to be a German Shepherd mixed with a smaller breed (possibly beagle based on my coloring?) as based on my current weight my rescue expects me to be on the smaller side for a GSD. I recently spent the day at The Drooling Dog Bakery getting spoiled and I was so very well behaved! I loved playing with the toys there, gathering them up onto my bed and then snuggling with them. I have been friendly with all of the dogs and humans I have met at the rescue and at Drooling Dog Bakery. My $350 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming, microchip and preventatives while at the rescue. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt! If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
