Born 8/7/2024, she was rescued from a high-risk shelter as a young puppy and has blossomed into a happy, social girl. She could be a beagle mix with some German Shepherd in her. She’s crate trained (no accidents!), walks nicely on leash, comes when called, and sits on command — currently working on “stay.” Kaylee loves to play with dogs twice her size, carry sticks proudly around the yard, and investigate all the interesting scents outside. After her adventures, she enjoys gentle pets on her head and face. Like many Beagle mixes, Kaylee is smart, affectionate, and loves to explore. She may be a little cautious at first, but she warms up quickly and is very friendly. She would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and letting her use that wonderful nose. We love Belle 💛 Belle is a total sweetheart who has been in our rescue since August 11th - but no one ever asks about her. We KNOW her person is out there, we just need help finding them. Belle’s favorite things: 🐶 Blankets? If there is a pile of blankets, she will find it and turn it into her personal nest. 💕 People? She loves her person with her whole heart. She melts into you and thinks you hung the moon. 🧸 Toys? Belle is fully convinced gravity does not apply to her. She launches herself into the air to catch them! Fetch pro 🙌🏼 🐕 Dogs? She currently lives with two calm big dogs and does well. She’s just not really a “take everywhere with you” kind of dog, but more of a “stay home, cuddle on the couch, and be your whole world” kind of dog. But here’s the thing… If you’re someone who doesn’t want a house full of animals… who is a homebody... if you just want one dog that is yours… Belle would be a great companion for you 🩷 She’s about 1 year old, around 45 lbs and very medium size. Her two flaws are that she barks at dogs on walks, so a fenced yard would be best for her while she works on this, and no cats or small animals for her. Our Oliver was purchased by a well renowned breeder. My husband and I are in our late 70's and realized even after giving him all the accoutrements a dog would want,...his needs superseded our expectations (of an older couple) that being, the advantages of a larger yard to run free in as well as other dogs to play with. Although he had our undivided love and attention, being a fairly young pup and us older adults, we realized his requirements were not the right fit We sadly but altruistically concluded that our loving Oliver would reap a happier life (not withstanding the love he's accustomed to) -but would have a more enriched life IF he were living with another loving family that had another dog he would be a companion with, as well as a yard to run freely.

Duffy Girl is a deeply loving, goofy, loyal companion looking for a calm home with an experienced dog owner who can help her feel safe and secure. I adopted her over 5 years ago, and while she’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, house trained, and generally low maintenance, she carries trauma from her early life that has led to fear-based reactivity toward some people and dogs when startled or anxious. Most of the time, Duffy is cuddly, playful, and wonderfully well-behaved. She thrives with routine, patience, and someone who understands anxious dogs and can confidently manage her triggers. As our family prepares for a baby, we know she would do best in a different environment where her needs can come first. This is an incredibly difficult decision made purely out of love for her. We are hoping to find Duffy a compassionate, experienced home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and understood, rather than face the stress and uncertainty of a shelter.
