We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. She's been through a lot, but thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in after her previous situation, and the incredible team at HLDR got her back on her paws. They helped her recover from fleas and worms, and now she's feeling fantastic. As a true Beagle, she's bursting with excitement when she meets new people, and she thrives on social interactions. However, her curious Beagle nature also makes her a bit of an escape artist, so a secure, fenced yard and careful door management are a must for her. She's currently enjoying the company of her foster brother and has even claimed his dog bed as her own cozy spot. Her ideal home is one that cherishes the Beagle breed, understands our need for activity and mental stimulation, and provides a safe and loving environment. Our family wanted a second dog for our older dog to have a friend. We got from a friend that was rehoming him. Duke is a sweet boy with a lot of energy . He loves to run , play , chase squirrels etc . We have a doggie door that he is able to use to go outside and potty and play whenever he likes . He loves to be pet and will snuggle up in your lap for a nap. He loves to take walks :) He knows the commands , " sit " and "outside" . Could use more training with other commands . Would recommend a good fence with no potential spots to escape. Also , in our experience , if you have another dog , you would need to separate them during feeding time , as he becomes protective of his food. Overall , we are very busy family that isn't home enough to give him the attention he needs. Our family would benefit from remaining a one doggie household and we are hoping to find Duke a loving home . He is all up to date on everything, and had been taking trifexis monthly . Comes with crate :)
