Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Coco (Coco Bean) is shy gentleman. He is blind in one eye and possibly has limited vision in the other eye. Coco would do best in a home with another dog to help with his confidence.  He is a total sweetheart and is still learning to accept love and affection. He wants to be in the same room with his person, and likes to cuddle and sleep on a pilllow.    When company visits, he hides but quickly warms if they don’t make any sudden moves.   Coco loves to go on walks! In fact, he barks with excitement when he knows it is time to go for a walk. He likes to walk in quieter areas because noises can make him nervous.  With love and patience, Coco will develop a deep bond with a person and give them unconditional love. Won't you give this sweet boy a home?    #AdoptDontShop #SeniorDogsRule#BeagleLove #Fosteringsaveslives Adopters age 65 and over who adopt senior dogs (age 8 and older) pay a special adoption fee of $100.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 9:39 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miracle Max has some white on his face and he grumbles like an old man, but do not let that fool you. This dog gets the zoomies. He plays with the big dogs at the dog park and holds his own. Then he comes home and takes a nap, ideally pressed right up against you, and does that again three or four more times before bed. He has figured out the best parts of being 8 and skipped the rest. He is a beagle, so he is food motivated in the way beagles are food motivated. He has put on four pounds since he came into foster care and wears every ounce of it proudly. Car rides and walks are the highlight of his day. He is enthusiastic about both. He is not a polished passenger and needs a seatbelt harness or a crate, because he is convinced he can help you drive. On leash, he would prefer you follow his nose. Again, beagle. What Max needs you to know He spent the last month getting a few things sorted out medically. He takes a diuretic for an enlarged heart, plus drops and ointment for dry eye. Neither one slows him down. He is funny and affectionate and full of energy regardless. The medication does mean he drinks a lot and needs to go out a lot. The rhythm that works is offering him a trip to the yard within about half an hour of a big drink. He has learned to use pee pads when getting outside is not an option, though there is still an accident here and there. Someone home during the day, or a flexible schedule, would set him up to succeed. He also does not like being left behind. He will make a run for the door to go with you. He wants to be where his person is. Good with: other dogs. He has not been tested with cats or children. Max is looking for someone who will keep up with his medications, stay patient through the housetraining, and let him sleep against their leg while they watch TV. In return you get a sweet, silly, deeply loving beagle who thinks you are the best thing that has ever happened to him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 9:39 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you're looking for a dog who loves affection, this sweetheart is ready to steal your heart. Linda Grace is happiest when she's soaking up hugs, kisses, and spending time with her people. She has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys being close to the ones she trusts. She also loves her toys! Whether it's carrying one around the house, tossing it in the air, or settling down with a favorite chew toy, toys are one of her favorite things. She's fully house-trained and already knows how to use a doggy door, making the transition into her new home that much easier. Like many clever pups, she does have one funny quirk... she's a professional counter surfer! If there's something tasty within reach, she'll happily investigate, so keeping counters clear is a must. Linda Grace is heartworm positive and has started the antibiotics she needs for pre-treatment. She can be adopted in the Tampa Bay area as long as she is accessible to our vet offices. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 9:39 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoopy D is a 10-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a loving home after the passing of his longtime owner. Despite this big life change, Snoopy D has remained incredibly gentle, affectionate, and easygoing. He absolutely loves cuddles and being close to his people. He gets along well with both people and other dogs. His behavior around cats and small children is unknown. Snoopy D was free-fed for most of his life, which caused him to become quite overweight, but he has adapted wonderfully to a healthier routine of twice-daily meals and regular short walks. He’s already steadily losing weight and enjoying his new lifestyle! Snoopy D is the definition of low-maintenance. He sleeps peacefully through the night in his own bed and spends much of the day happily snoozing nearby. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, loving, and easy-to-care-for best friend. Adopters age 65 and over who adopt senior dogs (age 8 and older) pay a special adoption fee of $100.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 9:39 am

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com   Hi, I’m Cheerio — your future cuddle buddy, blanket burrito, and loyal sidekick!    If you’re looking for a dog who lives for snuggles, I’m your guy. My favorite place in the whole world? Wrapped up in a blanket with you like a cozy little croissant. I’m the king of comfort and have perfected the art of being your soft, warm shadow.   I’m around 6 years old (approx DOB July 5, 2020), neutered, and just the right size — okay, maybe a little extra right now. I’ve got a few bonus pounds from living the snack life, but with regular walks (which I love!) and a little encouragement, I’m ready to slim down and strut my stuff.   I’m medium-sized with a long body, stubby legs, and a whole lot of personality. I get along great with other animals and am super friendly when meeting new people. I also have a talkative side when I’m craving attention — which is basically all the time.   If you’re into cozy nights, slow strolls, and a pup who will always be the little spoon, then I might just be the Cheerio your heart’s been missing. Let’s get wrapped up in forever.   Cheerio's adoption fee is $400 -  obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required.
