She had a hernia and cherry eye, that she has recovered completely of. She is incredible sweet with kids and love to play with our doggies. She is always up for a treat and cuddles, preferably both at the same time. She is house broken and does well on the leash! Also she up today on her shots and preventions, she is HW+ and in active treatment. He’s working his way to a healthy weight and looking better every day. Buddy thrives on structure and is currently on a consistent routine. Meals, walks, and playing at the park are at the same time daily. Being predictable will help him succeed. He recently finished medication, so we’re now determining whether that contributed to his bathroom accidents or if he just never learned proper house training. For now, he’s working on it. Buddy is not crated during the day. Being confined to a small space wouldn't be fair to him, due to the number of accidents he has. Right now, he’s given a secure, roomy space with whelping blankets and training pads when foster mom is at work, so he stays comfortable and clean. Our attention is on toilet training as well as resource guarding towards other dogs. Buddy is good with cats!! Buddy requires patience and consistency. He’s very gentle on leash, does not rush the door when it opens, and moves through life at his own relaxed pace. He is respectful around his environment and has been wonderful with nearby bunnies and goats, showing no barking or chasing. Mack does well with other dogs, but he needs slow, controlled introductions. When new dogs approach him too quickly or get too close too soon, he will growl to communicate that he’s uncomfortable, so he does best when set up to be successful. Mack is a slower, gentle eater, takes food nicely, rides well in the car, and loves lounging on his doggie bed. He is an active little guy and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. He has been easy going and quick to settle into his foster home. He has gotten along well with his foster siblings (both big and small dogs). He definitely likes companionship but would probably also do well as a single dog. He is working on potty training but getting the hang of it with a good routine. Herbie is good in his crate at night and when left at home. He is a typical beagle who loves to explore both inside and out in the yard but hasn't shown any destructive behaviors. His beagle bark has come out a couple times when playing with his siblings, but he is by no means loud or very vocal. He is social and loves attention. He prefers his own dog bed space for naps however is opening up quickly to snuggles on the couch. Herbie is ready to find his forever home where he can enjoy lots of love and treats in his later years.
