Story
Daisy is one of our mommas, she's a compact Beagle weighing in at 27 lbs. She has raised 5 beautiful healthy puppies who have already found their forever homes. Now it is Daisy's turn! Daisy still has a couple of obstacles to overcome. Daisy came to us heartworm positive so she has to complete her treatment before she can go home. She also has to be spayed. Daisy can be met and put on hold but can't leave until she is medically cleared. She is the sweetest girl who loves to get pets and go for walks. Daisy would make a great addition to any home! Please visit: Https://www.stfrancis-care.org/adopt for adoption information including the adoption application

Story
Beagle/boxer mix 4 1/2 - year-old 35 lbs. Ronnie is a high energy beagle mix and loves to play. He is good with other dogs as he lives with a 13 year old Yorkie.  Probably would need slower introductions  to new dogs. He'd do best with another energetic same size dog in the home. He's a confident dog, who thinks he's a big dog. He can be somewhat intimidated by much larger dogs. He is house trained and also crate trained.  He's been around kids so with proper introductions he should be fine with older kids.  Due to his energy level, he may be too much for smaller kids. Ronnie is good with new people he meets but can be somewhat cautious until he gets to know you. Ronnie will require a fenced yard as he loves to chase squirrels and birds. He is working on leash training. This little guy is just a big wiggle butt and happy to see his foster dad when he comes home from work. Ronnie has recently graduated from the 12 Week Puppies for Parole training program offered through the Mo Department of Corrections.  While in training he was taught basic obedience and socialization skills.  He has learned various commands such as sit, stay, paw, heel, etc … and has acquired his good canine citizen honor. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Ronnie’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
