Rudy is approximately 9 years old, and was adopted from Michiana Humane Society in 2018. She grew up with another dog and 3 kids. She has spent the last 2 years with cats. She is extremely docile with adults and LOVES affection. She has recently shown food aggression around the kids and has attacked the cats 2 times in the last 2 weeks. She would thrive in an adult only home, with humans who stay home often or are able to take her on adventures with them. She loves belly rubs and long walks. She has never bitten a human but has bitten the cats. She will growl if anyone nears her food. This is extremely devastating for our family, but I can’t risk her aggression generalizing to the kids, as it’s posing a safety risk to my family. She is very loyal to the person she bonds to, and I’ve never met a person who didn’t fall in love with her. I want her to find a safe, loving family that can give her the time and attention she deserves as she continues aging, to help with her anxiety 🩷

This is Leia! She was named after Princess Leia from Star Wars. She is 3 years old is the nicest and sweetest dog I’ve ever met. She loves to cuddle and is fantastic with kids. Our 18 month old son would hug her and she loved it. She does sometimes growl at other dogs if they’re near her water bowl but she has lived with our other dog for the last 3 years with no problems. She is crate trained and is potty trained. She loves to run and play and is super curious. She barks sometimes but not very often. We would love to find someone who will love her for the rest of her life.
