🥔 Meet the Ultimate Couch Potato with a Side of “DON’T TOUCH MY SNACKS!” 🥔 Hi, I’m your future best friend… with one very important rule: what’s mine is MINE.😂 I’m a genuinely sweet, loving boy who absolutely ADORES my people. I love cuddling, sleeping on the couch, and claiming a spot right next to you on the bed. If you sit down, I’m basically already there. 🥰 I’m the kind of guy who can play outside for hours, but the second you hit the couch, I’m ready to clock out and become a professional napper. Now, let’s talk about my one BIG quirk: my food.🍗🍖 I am extremely protective of my meals and treats. This is something my foster family is actively working on, but I am going to need an adopter who understands resource guarding, respects my boundaries, and is willing to continue working with me. This is NOT something to take lightly, but with structure, patience, management, and continued training, we're hopeful I can keep learning that I don't have to defend my dinner. I’m also not fully housebroken yet, but we’re working on that too! 💩😂 And then there’s my anxiety. I can get pretty worked up, especially in unfamiliar situations. At the vet, I was so overwhelmed and excited that I had to be moved to a quieter room because I just could NOT stop barking. But here's the thing… I’m not trying to be a troublemaker! I’m just a guy who REALLY wants attention, interaction, and someone to tell me I’m a good boy. ❤️ Once I feel comfortable, you’ll see the real me. I’m playful. I’m affectionate. I’m goofy. I’m a total cuddlebug. And underneath all my quirks is a sweet boy who desperately loves his people. I may need a little extra patience, structure, and understanding, but I promise I have plenty of love to give in return. Looking for: A committed adopter who understands resource guarding and anxiety and is willing to continue my training. Someone who will give me structure, patience, and most importantly, a safe place to finally feel secure. I’m Buddy, a 10-month-old, 56 lb BEAGADOR with a long lab body, a Beagle nose and legs, and absolutely unreasonable confidence. I made eye paw-tact with every human I passed because obviously you all came outside specifically to admire me. Blue and Skeeter are wonderful eager to please velcro dogs. They would love nothing more than to spend the day curled up next to you or out exploring and being active. They have a lot of energy but are just as happy being couch potatoes. They are 7 year old Beagle terrier mixes who were found dumped together as puppies. Blue has been known to be too smart for his brother's own good and is good at distracting him to get the toy or person he wants. Skeeter is just happy to be around his brother and a person who will give him the most attention possible. They are very eager to please and love to learn, if it makes their people happy. Skeeter sometimes needs a bit of extra time to figure out new things, but he'll watch his brother and figure it out. They both need a bit of help learning how to be a dog again and that people come back. They are great boys and if someone is willing to help them learn they'll pick it up quick. They haven't been socialized in 3 years but previously went to doggy daycare. They needed a close eye but we're progressing at the time. They'd need some time before becoming another dogs friend. They haven't met any cats or young children before. They have the instincts of a hunting dog, usually happily retrieving live animals. They've met pet rats previously and gotten a bit too excited for their own good. They've been better with smaller dogs than larger dogs but living with other types of small animals would probably not be the best. Blue needs some help overcoming some resource guarding behavior but is a wonderful dog once he can be reassured there will always be enough for him from now on. These boys are full of love and life and would love nothing more than to have a good pawrent or family to share it with. This is Leia! She was named after Princess Leia from Star Wars. She is 3 years old is the nicest and sweetest dog I’ve ever met. She loves to cuddle and is fantastic with kids. Our 18 month old son would hug her and she loved it. She does sometimes growl at other dogs if they’re near her water bowl but she has lived with our other dog for the last 3 years with no problems. She is crate trained and is potty trained. She loves to run and play and is super curious. She barks sometimes but not very often. We would love to find someone who will love her for the rest of her life.
