Story
Minnie’s Story Minnie is a one yr old female Hound Beagle mix that was rescued as a stray from a Southern rescue. She is high energy and recommend an enclosed fenced in yard to allow her to roam freely. Minnie loves to retrieve tennis balls, soccer balls and frisbees. She loves car rides and walks. Minnie loves other dogs but can be excitable when she first sees them. She loves going to dog parks. Since Minnie is very excitable we think she should be around older kids. She got along with our older cat but a slow introduction for cats is preferred. She is highly food motivated and likes to chew so keep plenty of chew toys and treats on hand. Minnie is house trained. We have left her for no more than 4 or 5 hours at a time and she does fine with our other dog in the house. So a companion dog might be good for her to play with. She loves human companionship and sleeps in our bed at night. In summary Minnie is a high energy dog so a fenced in yard is preferred. She would probably flourish with another dog in the house for companionship. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us after a week, please reach out to Passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Everyone loves a Beagle and Kenny B  is no exception to being a Beagle that especially needs love and some much needed personal guidance.  This 3 year old Beagle boy is 26 pounds and pretty much ALL Beagle.  But he needs someone to color inside the lines and shape him into an exceptional fellow that we know he is capable of being.  He was found as a stray with his brother Dean and at this stage of life he is a blank canvas that needs polishing and molding.  Kenny B is healthy and thankfully heartworm negative.  True to form this boy is full of energy and lots of hunting instincts that cannot be denied.  His mind and body and tail are always busy wagging and exploring his outdoor environment.  Fortunately despite being abandoned and found as a stray, this boy is friendly with humans, kids and other dogs are welcome new friends to discover for him.  This  boy Kenny B can accept AND give love generously and without hesitation.  And of course he needs a fenced yard that he cannot escape.  He will test you at first on that fencing thing but you as the human are smarter than him.  Secure the yard well and then no problem.  He is good on a leash and knows the sit commands only. You can continue and teach him more, which we know he will learn quickl  Beagles are a man's best friend in life.  Kenny B  has the potential to be the truest friend you might ever have in life.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live so that we know if you are in Tennessee where he is fostered or if we must transport him to the northeastern corridor of state on our transport van.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 17, 2026, 12:09 pm

Story
Meet Ganache — a little chocolate-covered heartthrob who is about to steal yours! ❤️Seriously, just look at this face. Those enormous doe eyes, those wonderfully long hound-dog ears, and that gorgeous chocolate and tan coloring are enough to make anyone swoon. But the best part? Ganache’s personality is every bit as adorable as his looks. This Beagle/Chi mix boy is a total social butterfly who seems to believe that everyone he meets is simply a friend he hasn’t gotten to know yet. People? Loves them. Dogs? Loves them. Attention? Absolutely! Ganache has even attended several puppy yoga classes, where he happily mingled with puppies and was cuddled, handled, and fussed over by people of all ages. He thought the whole experience was fantastic and was clearly born to be the center of attention! And yet, for such a fun-loving little guy, Ganache has an impressively sweet off-switch. When the excitement is over, he is perfectly content to curl up in his crate for a nap or quietly watch whatever is happening around him. He doesn’t need to be entertained every second of the day and is already showing the ability to settle nicely when left alone. He’s also off to a wonderful start with his potty training. Ganache sleeps through the night without accidents in his pen and consistently uses his pee pad during the day. We expect this handsome boy to top out around 20–25 pounds when fully grown — a great size for adventures, cuddles, and taking up just the right amount of space on the couch.Ganache really is the whole puppy package: adorable, social, adaptable, affectionate, and already showing such wonderful manners for his age. He’s ready for a family who will continue guiding him as he grows and, in return, will have a loyal little shadow who thinks life is one big party as long as he gets to be part of it.If you’ve been waiting for the puppy who makes you say “Oh, I NEED him,” we have a feeling Ganache may be your guy. Story
Meet Chance Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them. This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Chance came from a hoarding/ animal abuse case where his owners were consequently arrest, arrested.  Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. He is a little on the chubby side at 56lbs and loves to be a couch potato, though we have put him on an exercise regimen and a diet.  Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. His future is bright, and all he needs now is someone willing to give him the love and security he has always deserved.Chance was given a second chance at life. Could you be the one to give him his second chance at a forever home?  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  September 17, 2026, 12:09 pm
